Any one know who has the rights to To die for( the late 80s vampire flick, not the Nicole Kidman snorefest) and its sequel To Die For 2-Son of Darkness, would love to upgrade from my vhs'.For that matter are there any on here who have even seen them, never hear anyone talk about em.

Trailer for part 1.

Based on some recommendations I would definitely be all in for:

Sleepaway Camp 1 (Uncut)
Sleepaway Camp 2
Revenge Of The Ninja (Uncut)

We are dealing with the problem, but there is only so much we can do other than to continue to request that they fix this.
Thanks a lot Cliff.

Reading the conversation that one of blu-ray.com members had with Amazon customer service earlier today, and even if we knew you were aware of the problem and already told Amazon about it, I guess it's great you contacted them again, and again, until they finally fix the issue. It can't hurt.

Thanks for that (even if it's not your fault and even if you probably have better things to do than phone to Amazon!)

Seems like Scream is contacting Amazon directly. What I don't get is IF this is all Amazon's fault, based on a misunderstanding of a request for Scream's distributor, then why doesn't Scream's distributor, Gaiam, work with Amazon to get this fixed?

Maybe they are but it sure doesn't sound that why based on the posts in this thread.

Still havent gotten my package with Lifeforce and The Howling. After it was "missent" to the wrong post office it was supposedly sent back to the Correct one... though it has now been 3 days and no update on my tracking after the "Missent" notice. I really hope importcds will ship them to me again if they are lost thanks to the geniuses at the post office.

I have the DVD of To Die For and also wondered who owned the rights to it.
It has Duane Jones of Night of the Living Dead fame in a cameo.
If Lionsgate owns it , I may as well just enjoy the VHS quality DVD of it

Well, the original movie just had a Blu-Ray release announced. Besides, I'm sure some people find the thought of Gene Hackman playing a politician whom finds Billy Graham too liberal to be pretty horrifying...

How about Planet of Dinosaurs in HD ? That would be a great title for Scream or Shout to release - I dont know who owns it though. It had some pretty violent scenes for a dino flick and the stop motion effects are pretty good...I hope Cliff might consider this one

My bf just pointed out when I was talking about the Blu-ray of 'Death Valley' that, Peter Billingsley's picture on the cover looks like a blow-up doll.

So happy!!!. Amazon.com are now shipping Scream titles internationally again, so I guess they finally fixed the problem.

Thanks Cliff for contacting them a number of times to help resolve this issue.

Does anyone know who currently has the rights to Bay of Blood aka Twitch of the Death Nerve? I would love to see it get a US Blu-ray release by someone like Scream Factory (although I know Cliff isn't so hot on Italian movies).

I remain astounded at the inability of people to harness their computerized masters.

Here in Winnipeg, it was just discovered that McDonalds was charging an extra percentage point of sales tax. When this was pointed out, they admitted it was a computer error and they were working on a fix. They suggested people keep their burger receipts so they could get a redund when a fix was found.

Seriously. Working on a fix. in the "old days", If I was overcharged for something, I'd just tell the cashier and she'd say, "Oops...here's your money back". Done.
Amen to this. It seems that with the increase in scale of retailers, customer service of a certain kind has gone out the window. They still provide customer service, obviously, but they don't provide the kind of compensation that would of course be given by, say, a mom and pop store.

Kino/Lorber has the rights to Bay of Blood. It was supposed to be released in April but got delayed. There is no timetable to when it may street now.

I would suggest buying Arrow's region free blu of Bay of Blood. I bought it directly from Amazon UK and paid only $20.00 US dollars. It's a good release for such an old movie. Also, since it's region free it will play in any blu ray player. I was very pleased with PQ.
