I wouldn't be surprised if Fox were to make a deal with Shout! that included Phantom of the Paradise, Shock Treatment, and The Fly II (despite being a 2 disc Special Edition DVD).

I'd like to see Duel on Blu-ray. Don't know if Scream Factory can/will/want to put this out.

Burnt Offerings and Invaders from Mars would also be welcome in the HD universe , they are with MGM.
I wont speculate deals with Fox since that is too wishful at the moment - but The Fly II would be great.

Any more guys?
Please tell me there are legit grounds for suspecting The Midnight Hour, and it's not just random wishful thinking. I thought they had already said no to TV movies?

If Scream Factory released The Midnight Hour, it would be a dream come true.

They said no to any TV movies, although this may be a special exception. Kind of doubt Universal letting go of it, Spielberg and all.

All of the good movie have been rejected, so we are getting a bunch of garbage for 2014.

I've noticed you have quite the trend of positivity in this thread...

Now you see why I have him on ignore! I can do so without having the slightest worry that I'm missing a single iota of worthwhile or relevant information.

Unfortunately no. But it has been mentioned several times and unlike other titles it hasn't been shut down yet. It is a TV movie though, but I'm sure there are always some exceptions (Body Bags anyone ?). It has a decent following and the Anchor Bay DVD is highly sought after (Upwards of $200 on eBay).

As has been said several times in the past month EFNY and The Thing are not available. Neither is Slugs, as it is with Image.

Damn.

I was filming Homeland all weekend, and was too busy to check this thread.

Wow. I think Twilight Time will probably focus on different titles than Shout would. I do think that they will be releasing some horror films, I have a strange Count Yorga hunch. But they would probably focus on films like Thunder Road, or The Miracle Worker, just to name a couple.

I also think that they will be making another MGM deal, just like they did with Universal to get Prince of Darkness, in fact I would be very surprised if they did not. I see Motel Hell and quite a few others on their radar, remember that just because it's a no right now, doesn't mean its never, ever, coming out.

As far as Fox goes, I am 99% positive they are in the process of, or have already made another deal, probably a small one with 3 or 4 titles. I certainly see Phantom of the Paradise, now that Fox is, potentially, more open to licensing it out, since they no longer have Jessica Harper's husband under the captain's hat.

So, I took it bullet point style, but I think we will see a mosaic of films announced in July and in the near future, from many small distributors, and large studios.

There a ton of great possibilities/suggestions for the upcoming July announcements, it's tough to say what they will be. Whatever they are, I'm sure there going to please the majority of fans. Is it July yet?
