Ain't it grand? Remember when internet forums didn't have this feature, and you just had to put up with people to the point that it gots your blood boiling?

I've got like four or five people blocked on BR.com. Mouths who always enter threads and either present themselves as arrogant experts on everything, or whiners who bomb every single thread with negative comments.

I love ignore!

Cliff,

Any chance of the following being released:

Fox
Quatermass and the Pit (1967)
Daughter of the Mind (1969)
Spectre (1977)

MGM
Next of Kin (1982)
Special Effects (1984)
The Ambulance (1990)

Universal
The Screaming Woman (1972)
Scream, Pretty Peggy (1973)
The Savage Bees (1976)

I did a quick search of this thread and didn't see anyone talking about them. They're not exactly the most popular of titles (except maybe Quatermass), but a DVD release at the very least for the ones that haven't been released at all would be much appreciated.

What on earth IS being released next year?! It seems like almost everything has been rejected and we're supposed to be getting 4 titles a month? :O
Perhaps scream is going to be branching into different decades. That would be awesome if we got some 30's-60's cult classics. I imagine we probably have better chance of seeing 90's and 00's being explored than the earlier ones though.

I think Cliff is just sandbagging us so that next year is full of surprises

He usually is very open when asked.
If he doesn't want to tell you, he won't.

But He hasn't denied any film that was on their slate, other than Halloween II and III, but that was just to not spoil the entire launch.

Just think, all those movies must be coming from somewhere, imagine the possibilities... Maybe he will crack HBO or another smaller studio and snag some really nice gems, like The Hitcher, for example.

With a 2K Theatrical DCP of Duel being screened places over the next couple of months, I think this one isn't too far off.

Code Red still controls MADMAN, and since he is considering doing BluRays now, you should shoot him an email to encourage him to do so.

HBO won't happen, cause it's owned by Warner Bros. A deal with Lionsgate would be most welcome, but I'd also be happy if SF just kept cherry pickin' the Universal and MGM catalogs.
