I was looking at Sony's catalog and I have come to some possible conclusions.
1) Image may have Candyman or Texas Chainsaw: TNG. 2) Mill Creek should make a double of The Kiss and 976-EVIL. WHAT MILL CREEK SHOULD RELEASE AS DOUBLES: -The Deep/Piranha II -The Bride/Revenge of Frankenstein -The Kiss/976-EVIL -Any two Godzilla movies -Vampires/Vampires: Los Muertos Last edited by demonknight; 06-26-2013 at 02:04 AM. |

I hate random sequels paired with other films, but at least it would be available on BD. What makes you think Image has those two? That's very interesting that you say that... |

Nice of them to offer a combo option (with the lack of posters for these, there wouldn't be much incentive to pay Shout's higher prices otherwise ), but as the total would be $56 with shipping, the Psycho Legacy doc would actually be $14 since you could have pre-ordered Psycho II and III for $42 (not counting Gold Box) from Amazon.

Fans shouldn't have to settle for TT releases, like the people who were wishing TT would get Pumpkinhead. Why? Just because Shout doesn't release it, doesn't mean it will never get good treatment from anyone. Lets think Blu-Ray is still relatively new, DVD stood alone, after VHS for 6 years, but still thrived before VHS's were obsolete. Just take it slow, and don't sacrifice any films to the Satan that is Twilight Time.... |

I say this because Image has recently gained access to a percentage of Sony's catalog: Idle Hands, Peggy Sue Got Married, Jagged Edge, etc. |

Though I doubt they acquired it so soon, especially since Cliff turned it down fairly recently, I believe. Quote:

Hi Cliff,
Have you considered THE ADDICTION (1995) with Lili Taylor, Edie Falco, and Christopher Walken for a Scream Factory Blu-ray release? Universal never released it on DVD in R1, so all fans have is a worn-out VHS. Frankly, I don't think they knew how to market it. A Blu-ray release would be a huge upgrade and more vampire films in the collection is a good thing. It might be a bit too 'arthouse' for the label, but I enjoy picks that come out of left field every once in a while. That, and the prospect of any supplemental material involving Christopher Walken is irresistible ![]() |
