Haven't seen either, but 'The Nest' looks pretty good.

anyone know if highway to hell is MGM? i would love to see that one get a blu ray.
THE NEST is the best giant killer cockroach movie ever made! Even the DVD had a prominently-featured cockroach on the front cover that to this day still gives me the creeps.

My mind is racing thinking about possible MGM titles being released by Shout. My personal wishlist:

Motel Hell
Squirm
The Last Man On Earth
Scanners
The workprint edition of Return of the Living Dead
Poltergeist Sequels
The Day After
Miracle Mile
Prison
Alien Predators
Creature (1985)
Florida Straits

They Shoot Horses, Don't They?
Thunderbolt & Lightfoot

Carnal Knowledge
Too Late for Hero
The Great Train Robbery
Lenny (with Dustin Hoffman)
Altman's "Thieves Like Us" and Ashby's "Bound for Glory" and "The Landlord"

Back to the topic,Altman's "Images" would be awesome!Never seen it,but sounds like a good ghost flick

Well, if MGM and Universal are on the table, I might as well request a handful of titles.

Amityville 2, 3 (both have recent hd masters from MGM), The 'burbs (has an hd master, but looked weak on Cinemax), Burnt Offerings (has an hd master, The Burning (has an hd master), Child's Play 2 (has an hd master), Deranged (has an hd master), a proper blu-ray of Escape from New York (HDNet Movies has shown the only respectable hd version), Motel Hell (has an hd master),Night of the Demons (which I think they made an hd master for as the version MGM uploaded to Hulu is much different from any dvd), Night Visitor, Phantasm 1 and 3, Prince of Darkness (has an hd master), Poltergeist III (has an hd master), Pumpkinhead (has an hd master from MGM), Session 9 (shot in 1080p), Scarecrows (has an hd master),Sleepaway Camp 2 and 3 (already have nice hd masters from MGM), Squirm (has an hd master), The Video Dead (has a nice recent hd master from MGM), The Woods (it's newer, also has an hd master).

Not horror, but I'd love a widescreen release of MGM's There Goes My Baby.

LOVE that movie! MGM has such an amazing catalog.

TerrorVision??? Sold! As for the Nest, I've heard of it but that's the extent of my knowledge. Anyways, if we're on MGM then Phantasm 1-3 are potentially locked up. Does AB have Phantasm ObIVion locked up?

Oh, and, well....can...um, we get also get Night of the Comet?

I wouldn't mind Shout/Scream Factory continuing the Midnite Movies banner with movies that don't have good enough transfers for blu-ray

also my short MGM wish list of titles I haven't seen mentioned yet (not all horror)
Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II
Breeders
Soul Cinema releases like Coffy & Foxy Brown
Hot Dog: The Movie
Heavy Traffic
Fritz The Cat

Would love Night of the Comet. Supposedly Kelli Maroney has been trying for years to buy the rights from the studio. I'm sure she'd be happy to contribute to new extra features (commentary, etc.)

I'm sure Catherine Mary Stewart would be willing to contribute as well. Both her and Kelli seem to love the fans.

THE NEST is awesome. I got to see it in theatres... in a grimy "42nd Street-like" theatre in downtown San Francisco. It's always been a favorite.

Very cool selections, count me in for both. And I would be down for most all of the titles these members have suggested today, the more obscure ones and well known ones alike. Cliff, here's to an incredibly successful 2013 line and beyond! Thanks for doing us horror-heads proud.

Oh! to have the Midnite Movies line restart! A dream come true, hopefully. Cliff - you can have my first born if you can squeeze Bava's BLACK SABBATH and PLANET OF THE VAMPIRES out of the deal! THE EVIL EYE, too! Aw heck, see about any of the gothic horrors from 1960-1972 that they've got.

We just got killer klowns from outer space from mgm. I have to wonder..... seeing as next year would be the 25th anniversary.

But other than that and countless others.

I thought about this yesterday. Yes, the film has been released, but they dropped off all the extras. Plus, with HII, we now have a precedent that Scream will come in a do a title that was done poorly or just ok, with a much more features packed edition.

Here's hoping for EFNY!
