My apologies if this has been discussed before, but seeing as how Scream Factory has been able to put out a lot of Universal titles, I was curious if they might be able to get JAWS 2, JAWS 3-D and JAWS: THE REVENGE. When the original came out last summer, I just assumed the others wouldn't be far behind. Now that a whole year has passed and no word of Universal releasing them to Blu-ray, they seem like natural fits for Scream Factory.

I'm pretty sure Universal has plans to release them.

I swear some blu ray only collectors act like spoiled children in a playground that I feel like creating "Blu Ray for whiners thread" where all the negativity can all be grouped together in one place.
And while this is a blu ray forum, its Scream Factory (North America)discussion page thread where DVD and Blu Ray releases are discussed.
You want HD format releases, well its not going to happen with every title so the fewer the bellyaches about it the better off we all are and keeps the forum in a peaceful environment
And lastly it wasnt really any attack, I was simply saying what happened to thank you for releasing (such and such)
AGAIN, this is a BLU-RAY FORUM. This is a thread for Scream Factory Blu-Ray releases, and while the DVD releases are fine to talk about, the thread exists to talk about Blu-Rays released by Scream Factory in North America. So it's perfectly reasonable for me to ask if a Blu-Ray release is out of the question or not, so again I say, drop the attitude.

Out of the original MGM announcements, Night of the Comet was my most-anticipated and now it's the last one out of the gate. To hear that work hasn't even begun has me a little worried . I hope the saying "save the best for last" applies here. Any hint to what the extras might be?

Already has been denied. I'm sorry.

Great flick though. I love the original theatrical poster.

Im through going back and forth about this...Id rather do something productive

Forgive me if this ground has been covered already or if this video has been seen by everyone, but it's new to me and maybe some of you haven't seen it so I figured I'd post this.

It's a video interview with Cliff, and I've always been a little miffed as to why "Terror Train" got to don the "Collector's Edition" title and was given that treatment, considering we have non-"Collector's Edition" titles that are far more special features oriented than the "Terror Train" release, "Video Dead"/"TerrorVision", I'm looking at you.

Well, I guess it's no fault of Cliff's or "Scream Factory's" at all, in fact they tried multiple times from what he says here, and reportedly the director was set to do a commentary for the release and got cold feet not once but multiple times and what it just boils down to is that he really thought he had nothing to add or say regarding the film.

Yes that was posted a while back. It's Frightner22's interview.
Unfortunately, that seems to be the case with adding material. The filmmaker doesn't think it will add anything, meanwhile all the fans of said film are wanting every little bit they can get.
It's a big reason why I gave up trying to be a "completist" with home media. You'll just drive yourself nuts trying to get that "definitive edition" that captures everything from: dvd, LD, vhs, beta....

Frankly, I've become the same way. "Friday the 13th" had a lot to do with it. At this point, it doesn't take a whole lot to make me happy when it comes to supplements for the film. Any effort is totally appreciated.

I also still can't stand people who were involved in the making of a "horror" film, that may have gone on to other things and simply saw doing a "horror" film as an easy quick cash-in and a possible platform to other "better" things. Almost as if they are above "horror" and it's some what of a black sheep genre. But, I mean it's their loss, they obviously don't understand the horror community and the second life horror conventions can give them.

Thanks for referring back to my interview with Cliff. It was a real pleasure to sit down and have an extensive discussion with him. As you can tell, being a huge supporter of the Scream Factory line, I came with my homework done which I think benefitted the interview incredibly. I do apologize that the sound couldn't have been better since so many random elements kept causing disruptions. Now, that the line has been in full swing for over a year with 2014 well scheduled, I hope to do another extensive interview in the future with Cliff if we ever have the pleasure again.

By the way I just wanna state some obvious facts and say I really hate "Twilight Time" and I love "Scream Factory." Unfortunately, I'll be taking a few steps back and ordering "Christine", "Vampires", and "Escape From NY" on DVD, because I really want the commentaries and what special features they do have. I have "Escape From NY" on blu-ray already but we all know how it turned out and the other two just aren't feasible for a lot of people, for one "Christine" is in the $100+ range which is a joke and "Vampires" who knows when that one will see the light of day and if they will even bother with porting the commentary.

Why is Sony seemingly not giving a shit about releasing their titles themselves aside from new releases, I mean just looking at what I own, they put out "Dracula", the "Hostel" films, "Night of the Creeps" even. It's incredibly annoying now that everything seemingly goes to Mill Creek or Twilight Time.

Cliff - Having received my copy of "The Howling" today I couldn't help but think of it's sequel, the hilariously bad, but infinitely entertaining "Howling II." Was there any thought into acquiring this one, even if it were to be given the treatment that "The Evictors" was given, just simply being a bonus disc counterpart to "The Howling." Obviously, it's too late for that, but it is the only good and best sequel in the series, in my opinion. And that new wave theme song played through-out has to a lot to do with it's charm.

Also, seeing as "Psycho II" and "Psycho III" have never-ever been given special features to any of its releases by Universal and GoodTimes, can you give us an idea of what you will have to offer? I know at this point you probably don't want to go into specifics, but since they are donning the "Collector's Edition" banners, can you maybe gauge how much they will have to offer? Say maybe like "Terror Train" or "Deadly Blessing" sized special features or more content like "The Howling" or "Halloween" part 2 or 3?
