Scream can even release Scanners 1 and 2 as a Double Feature since they also have a deal with Fox (least they want to release them individually).

FYI, there's a Scanners trilogy set in the works from Second Sight in the UK.

Baffling why Raro has a stickied thread and Scream Factory/Shout doesn't.

Here's hoping for EFNY!
I think it's a longshot, at best, but it's fun to think about it!
As I've stated, previously, I'm not a huge horror fan...but what SF is doing here is slowly turning my into one!
I'll definitely keep a lookout on their future projects and if a release comes up that I might have passed on, well you can bet I'll support them in their endeavors!

Frankenheimer's "The Train".
The Last Valley (starring M.Caine)
They Shoot Horses, Don't They?
Thunderbolt & Lightfoot
Eye of the Needle
Cutter's Way
Carnal Knowledge
Too Late for Hero
The Great Train Robbery
Lenny (with Dustin Hoffman)
Altman's "Thieves Like Us" and Ashby's "Bound for Glory" and "The Landlord"

One can dream,right?

Back to the topic,Altman's "Images" would be awesome!Never seen it,but sounds like a good ghost flick

as well as

Cheers.
Excellent choices, Akijama! We think alike.

IMAGES is a terrific movie - truly scary - but it's not a ghost story, it's more in the vein of REPULSION. I'd recommend seeing it whether Shout release it or not. Seriously under-rated and with a freaky soundtrack by John Williams.

I've actually got an Australian Blu of MOREAU which looks quite nice. Pretty crap film but it has nostalgia value for me.

To your excellent list I'd add my hopes for :

THE FORTUNE COOKIE
BILLION DOLLAR BRAIN
BIRDMAN OF ALCATRAZ
EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX
A FISTFUL OF DYNAMITE
HANNAH AND HER SISTERS
IRMA LA DOUCE
JEAN DE FLORETTE/ MANON DES SOURCES
THE LONG GOODBYE
LOVE AND DEATH
METEOR (more nostalgia)
THE MISSOURI BREAKS
PLAY DIRTY
THE PRIVATE LIFE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES
THE PRODUCERS
THE PURPLE ROSE OF CAIRO
A SHOT IN THE DARK
THE RETURN OF THE PINK PANTHER
SLEEPER
THE VIKINGS
ROLLERBALL

Some of them not very Shouty but I can dream...

EDIT: Oh and I think you mean the excellent TOO LATE THE HERO, right?

But seeings how now Shout! has access to the MGM library, I want them to release a 50th Anniversary Pink Panther set with all the films (including Return which they can do), all the Pink Panther/DePatie-Freleng United Artists cartoons (plus the 3 Pink Panther specials), and a Bonus Disc. Maybe even include an updated edition of The Pink Panther: The Ultimate Guide To The Coolest Cat In Town book. They can also release the film and cartoon set individually with the bonus disc and book being exclusive to the ultimate box set. There should also be a Blu-ray collection of the films as well. Please consider this Cliff.

Also another idea would be an Ultimate Edition of Erik The Viking with all the available cuts.

Never heard of Terrorvision although checking out the trailer it look pretty good, as does The Nest.

Wish the announced titles were a little bigger though, such as The Fog (One of my favourite movies of all time) or The Howling, or something like Town That Dreaded Sundown which has been a highly sought after title. Haven't heard much about these too many from horror sites. That being said, I'll purchase them both but can't say that I'm not slightly disappointed compared to their Universal pick ups which had me screaming in excitement! Hopefully next fri.'s title is a little bigger.

Either way keep up the great work! I will be purchasing everything you guys release.

My wishlist,

The Fog
Prince of Darkness
Phantasm 1 and 3
The Howling
The Town That Dreaded Sundown
The Burning
The Abominable Dr. Phibes / Dr. Phibes Rises Again!
Vincent Price: MGM Scream Legends Collection
Burnt Offerings
Howling 2: Your Sister Is a Werewolf
The Amityville Horror Trilogy
Dolls
From Beyond
Ghoulies / Ghoulies 2
The Last Man on Earth
Lifeforce
The Premature Burial
Pumpkinhead
Vault of Horror
The Serpent and the Rainbow
Child's Play 2 and 3
The Sentinel
Session 9

I ordered They Live via amazon, and will do the same with Phantasm 2 when it comes out. $25 for shipping to Canada from Scream Factory vs $5 from TT vs $8 from Amazon.com

Sorry, I get confused which way round it is. Of course you're right.

I can't really see MGM letting go of the Panther films anyway and they wouldn't sit that well with Shout's output. Same for the Woody Allen movies.

Thx Duggie,i see a LOT of great choices on your list as well (Play Dirty,The Vikings...love it)
Thx for IMAGES recommendation too.Sounds great so far! Will check it for sure.About Moreau,I will go see it, mainly because I want to see how has Lancaster (a huge fan of him) played his role of Dr.Moreau role. That's it
Btw,i think MGM will release the rest of the Pink Panther and W.Allen's movies on Blu themselves.Pretty sure about it.Let's just hope it will happen sooner than later.
A Fistful of Dynamite...why the hell this movie isn't out on Blu yet?Definitely an underrated flick.Great call.

I think Shout! can do wonders with that (and the fact they have a deal with Universal which includes The Return Of The Pink Panther). But if they can't, at the very least release Return and the remaining DePatie-Freleng cartoons in the United Artists library (the cartoons on DVD only, btw).

Those Ingmar Bergman movies would really benefit from new HD transfers and releases!

And new commentaries - the ones on the MGM discs are hands-down the worst 'expert' commentaries in the entire history of the DVD format, and I state that unequivocally and without hyperbole.

I will quietly remind people there are existing HD transfers of the Vincent Price classics from the 60s that look quite good. And I strongly doubt Scream Factory would have any global competition for them. On niche releases like these, factoring in import sales is critical, even if the release has to be locked to Region A.

I'd love all of the Price/Poe films, but I believe Cliff stated that they were focusing on 70's and 80's titles.

Scream should be focusing on profit, that is all.

Yep, Cliff has said that the focus was on 70's and 80's titles.

If the Roger Corman didn't do well as Cliff said, I highly doubt the Poe films which are much older will do better.

Thumbs up

He did say that there would be some exceptions. With Shout and Scream I do expect a few surprises, not just with MGM but with Universal
I can see Incredible Melting Man, Quatermass Experiment, Without Warning, Last Man on Earth , Phantasm (which I think Anchor Bay still has)
Someone on Facebook asked Cliff about who chooses the titles, they do or the studios and he said "both"
This could mean a lot of great *stuff*
He has also mentioned some non horror titles, so we could get something like Midnight Run
MGM has a lot of great titles to make us all happy down the road and I think 2013 is going to really rock our world
