Seeing as its the night between July 3rd and 4th, I'm going to retire to my room and watch Return of the Living Dead, as it takes place in this timeframe.

I watched that on Youtube (I know, I know) awhile ago and thought it was pretty decent. Been on the fence about picking up the UK steelbook for awhile now.

I first watched it the same way. I watched it on Youtube about 3 more times after that. I then picked up the R1 release.

5 actually, if you count stupid Chiller TV movies. Although Chilling Visions is loads better than Dead Souls.
[Show spoiler]Why put out theses TV movies, but not classics, like the brand originally targeted. Although I am not arguing with their decisions, I'm just a little confused... I guess these new films are sellers??

I agree. They need to spread announcements out.
Small announcements between big announcements, maybe bring back the Friday announcements, so that we have something to discuss in regards to hints, so we aren't bickering or on completely different topics. We all do it...

The cluster of big announcements, then lack of big announcements for weeks make for boring discussion. But we do LOVE Scream Factory...

[Show spoiler]at least I do.

Even the Friday announcments were too close, and they ran out of titles.

Maybe just one movie a Friday, not release, could work, or just announce titles a month at a time.

Yeah. They kind of went off when they announced two titles a week.

To prevent the past problem, only announce multiple films if they have something in common. Like Scanners 2/3. Not like Vampire Lovers and Incredible Melting Man.

Absolutely gorgeous! I would love to see both of these as Scream Factory titles.

Does this mean Scream Factory is going to have to hire extra security for their panel and booths? Will we hear of Comic-con nerd on Comic-con nerd beatings on the show floor? (Sadly, I think this joke could happen the way it's been going at the show...)

Will mar3o go to the WB booth at Comic-con and hold someone hostage for a 3D BD of Friday the 13th Part III? - If you read this mar3o I'm not serious, and please don't do it.

Just kidding guys, you do need to lighten up a bit though. Collecting movies is supposed to be a fun passion, but as with all things blog-like now-a-days, people are taking stuff a little too seriously.

These things aren't crimes against humanity, sometimes it may just feel like crimes against film preservation...

Your post caught me off guard. After all these years, I don't recall many, if any, "joking" posts from you...so halfway through I thought all that was really happening. That was a good one!

I think it'll just continue to be every now and then, at least for the time being.

The only thing I would change is make them combos or, in the case of Invaders, make ot blu only, like the other Midnite Movies titles.
But that's just me being picky.

Final list of extras for Day Of The Dead are up on Facebook. 2 new documentaries! One on the legacy, the other the mines. Both commentaries being ported over. Savini's behind-the-scenes video, photos, trailers and tv spots. And don't forget a new transfer. Sweetness!

So Jeffrey Combs will be at comic con this weekend and I'm planning on going. Really not sure what to get him to sign...

I don't think I'll get him to sign my Re-Animator DVD (I am waiting for the UK blu which is why I haven't upgraded) so I'm considering From Beyond or The Frighteners on blu-ray.

I'm leaning more towards From Beyond but don't know which cover to sign. I'm leaning more towards the original art because there is a lot of great space where he can sign without affecting the art where as Scream's custom cover art is very, very busy already.

What do you think?

^What about if you be the one fan that is just happy to shake his hand and give him a break from signing stuff? He might appreciate that. Just a thought
