Except the Corman Poes are better made, have Vincent Price and other better regarded actors, focused on stories and cinematography as well as set design instead of tits and ass. They appeal to a wider audience simply because of the era they fell in too.

You make them sound like trash, I like them for what they are: mindless fun. As much as like the Price ones, I stand by my point. I don't see it doing better...

I'm just repeating what he said some time ago... That doesn't necessarily mean they'll stop with the releases. I don't know...

Cliff,

Did the deal with MGM include tv rights? I mean, does it mean we can finally some tv shows as well? Like say the remaining seasons of Green Acres?

Thanks!

The Video Dead has gotten quite a few votes, Cliff. PLEASE make it happen!

Not sure who owns the rights but how about Broken Lizard's Club Dread?

Bill Paxton as Coconut Pete = Awesomeness!

Cliff, sorry to sound like a broken record, but I need to know if the United Artists DePatie-Freleng cartoons (Tijuana Toads, Blue Racer, etc.) are also part of the deal.

Excited about these Scream Factory releases, I'm getting Halloween II & III next week and have They Live pre-ordered. Thanks Cliff!

Can you say if the deal with MGM includes the various films from Empire Pictures?

I'd be in for a first-ever widescreen version of Trancers in a heartbeat, and there's a couple other ones I vaguely remember on late at night on the old TNT Monstervision show. Thanks for all the hard work on these!

Fantastic news that SHOUT! has alot of MGM titles!

Cliff, please let 'The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane' (1976) be an upcoming Blu-ray! One of my favorite films from the 70's.

The various DVD releases that are available for Trancers would indicate that it's part of the Full Moon catalog, not MGM.

Am I the only one that hopes Heavy Traffic and the two Fritz the Cat films get picked up in this deal?

While I don't care for those films, having SEs of them would be a treat.

I don't know how many MGM titles Shout has access to but I'd love to see a parallel 'Action Factory' line (or something like that). Maybe that's where Escape from New York could go. They could also do better editions of the Death Wish films, maybe some of the Norris ones. We could get some unreleased gems like The Taking of Beverly Hills. And double- and triple-packs of the many lower-budget action titles in MGM's catalogue, and others besides.

Cliff.. Can you say anything in generalities about the non-horror related titles?

Something along the line of ballpark amount of titles licensed, percentage of horror films versus non-horror, etc.?

And thank you for sharing your time here.

Not on Blu-ray, no. Cliff wrote the BD's did not sell well enough to continue releasing them.
