With or without Criterion titles Sept and Oct figure to be big blu ray horror months...Fox even has the original Fly coming out
It is a shame to see so many early reviews for the Fog , Melting Man, the Car from Arrow, wtc, while most of us have to wait until the official release date...if they are ready to go, then send them out !

and MGM's soft-announcement of the Jeepers Creepers / Jeepers Creepers II blu for October, who knows what else they have coming, last year it was Texas Chainsaw Massacre II and Killer Klowns from Outer Space and a couple more.

The Fly's date is September 10th, btw.

John Carpenter's stuff always takes a few years to become classics.
Halloween wasn't a hit right away, Ghost of Mars was considered his worst until recently. He's always ahead of the times. Just wait. lol.

I hated Ghosts of Mars until about 3 months ago, could barely sit through it. Then I got the blu-ray and realized it was so much better than I though before.

I like the Jeepers movies, though I am reluctant to admit it. They are great late night movies with a little popcorn and the lights out.

I think these are just placeholder covers.

They are hideous. Can't see Criterion essentially photo shopping a still with words over it.

I can't stand the holes in the UPC, thats why I don't get screeners from Shout. I am happier spending my money, and still reviewing them.
