(And no, I'm not talking about the goofy Japanese-commercial one from Criterion.)

I completely intend to, as it has been on my Netflix queue for a while. Your Coscarelli parallel just deepens my interest. Written by Fred Decker too!

I was going to watch it on Youtube but Image had it taken down.

Excellent movie love every second of it. Here's a question about releasing a movie if it's been asked sorry. What about Saturday the 14th? Cheesy little flick but a guilty pleasure. Would love to see it on blue.

I imagine that if they were to release it, it would be paired with the sequel, Saturday the 14th Strikes Back. The same company owns them both: New Concorde. It is a possibility. They had: The Nest, Deathstalker 1&2, and Deathsport.

100% agree. The Horror Show is much better and much more re-watchable. I still gasp when he throws the severed head.

House IV is a total cheesefest. If you thought II was too goofy, I doubt you'll be a fan of this one.

Did anyone else think Insidious was just a huge House rip-off? The dad crawls into a mirror, which takes him to "the other side" to save his son?

Just posted over at the "Scream Factory" Facebook page.

And if I could quote regarding their post - "I love that Craig Wasson (poor man's Bill Maher) gets billing on the cover instead of the insanely more profitable name of Christopher Lloyd who is also in the movie. Mistake or not, this is why I love "Scream/Shout!" they really care about the cult fans."

Just wanted to show a little love for Craig Wasson.

Film credits are contractual.

Thanks for the piece of info. I always think of the DVD release of "Return to Horror High" and how George Clooney had like top billing and I don't remember him really having the leading role. I know there are other better examples of this though.

EDIT - "Leprechaun" comes to mind as well, never using Jennifer Aniston's name on the original one-sheet, but the DVD artwork is another story. I actually have the original DVD cover where her name only appears in an image of a shamrock. Later releases saw her head shot blown-up and painted green essentially bigger than the Leprechaun himself on the cover.

Well here's the story on the confusion of the House series, you see Sean S. Cunningham had an idea to transform each House film into an anthology of unrelated haunted house themed stories. Horror Show is part of the franchise but House 4 decided to go back to the Roger Cobb story.

Similar to Halloween 3's concept plan for the franchise of making a Halloween themed anthology.

Insidious was a homage to House and haunted house films of the past.

I still remembered seeing House 1 & 2 in theaters when i was a kid including Horror Show.

I thought it was just released as House III internationally, but it was unrelated other than just being another Cunningham movie. And then House 4 was really House III but they called it 4 because they didn't want to confuse people.... And we ended up being confused anyway...

Similar to how international audiences get movies that are unrelated, but marketed as sequels, thats all I was under the impression it was.

(Example: Zombie & Dawn of the Dead, The Ogre & Demons, Contamination .7 & Troll)

Easilly my most anticipated upcoming 2013 release, next to Night of the Comet, I hope we see more Slashers on BD soon. Hospital Massacre is so delightfully cheese-tastic, Schizoid could have been better but it's from the golden age of horror.

I'm glad to know Scream is considering Visiting Hours / Bad Dreams.

I hope we get more like New Year's Evil, To All A Goodnight, etc.

I'm so incredibly pleased with the double feature of "Video Dead" & "TerrorVision" and all the special features, and clearly all the effort put into these releases, I will easily blind-buy this new double feature.

Although this next double feature release may not contain as many extras, they clearly know how to make a good pairing of films and they do put as much effort into extras and special features as they can.

Effort and really knowing the titles you have at your hands to release, really goes a long way for me. Can't wait to own this next one.

It's just an excellent and quite complete release. I hope The Fog release is this thorough.
