It may just be one of those complicated rights issues where one company has TV rights only, another has International rights, etc. According to the credits on the theatrical poster, the film was distributed by Jensen-Farley Pictures, who also distributed Madman and The Boogens IIRC. Maybe Echo Bridge just had temporary North American DVD rights.

Hi guys, first time poster. In response to undeadcow, I also had a strange charge of $33.80 from Shout Factory today. I haven't ordered anything from them since March too. I'm thinking they are just taking their sweet time in charging me for my March orders.

Thank you to all who responded, welcome to the board FrankFlynn26. I reviewed my bank statement and found a $53 charge from March and now a $80.xx when my March purchase was $133. It seems very strange but FrankFlynn is likely correct that Shout Factory is just now charging for items that have already shipped out from purchases made over 3 months ago, which seems kind of uncool.

I went back through my statements and they have only charged me about $69 out of my order of $112 since March. Odd indeed. Has anyone else been charged this late? To get back on track, has Cliff shot down The Guardian, Friedkin's bat shit crazy flick from 1990 about the killer tree?

I've asked about that one a couple of times on the Facebook page. Never got an official response, one way or the other. The DVD was released by Anchor Bay, but that was 10 years ago so their distribution rights may have lapsed...which is what I'm hoping, since I too would love to see Scream Factory release The Guardian.

I found Halloween II there new and Halloween III used. I know at one time they had Death Valley and The Island but they don't have them anymore. It's no wonder these stores that are supposed to be specialty stores and sell everything at retail cost go out of business -- they can't even get the one thing right that they're supposed to be there for: stocking the titles you can't find at big box stores.

With Twitter I'm sure the news will be coming in as it's announced. Although I don't really use Twitter, hopefully someone on here does.

I'm usually asleep by 10 but with the ongoing monster East Coast heatwave I'll likely be up and about in a restless daze so these announcements will serve as a respite

. Hoping for HELL NIGHT, FRIGHT NIGHT II, Without Warning, The Sentinel or Legacy.

Sad to say, but Hell Night is still with Anchor Bay, I think. And a deal with them appears unlikely.

As for Burnt Offerings, I don't think we've ever got a response one way or another. I have the original DVD but I'd love to see a hi-def release of it.
