Those make sense. Don't forget about the unannounced deals that are in the works/have been made.

He did say though that he wasn't giving up yet, and apparently they don't know how many titles they are going to announce as some they will be negotiating up until the show, so you never know. That would be a huge title for them to announce. Escape from New York would be another big one!

I really hope it's not titles like Shocker, People Under the Stairs, Phantom of the Opera (1989) ect. announced, as in my opinion they aren't very good (Although of course I would still buy them being Craven titles or in Phantom's case starring Robert Englund). There are definitely much better titles out there! And with Synapse recently announcing Curtains and Prom Night, I hope they are at least in that caliber.

I would like to see

The Burbs (Such a fun movie with a stellar cast.)
The Sentinel (Creepy and very effective horror flick.)
Burnt Offerings (One of the better slower paced haunted house flicks.)
Pumpkinhead (This needs to be released by Scream! It's a pretty big title that has several sequels to prove it. Why isn't this at the top of their list?)
Serpent and the Rainbow (Probably Craven's best latter day flick besides Scream.)
Village of the Damned (It's Carpenter and actually pretty decent)
Phantom of the Paradise (Great and fun spin on the Phantom formula.)
Legend of Hell House (Great Hell House adaptation.)
The Car (The last three titles just need a release to compete with Arrow's region locked releases.)
Motel Hell (Especially this one as it's been highly requested.)
Deranged

Surprise Announcement!

Army of Darkness (This needs a much better release worthy of its classic status.)
Dawn of the Dead (If they announce this they need to forget about Night being public domain and release a trilogy box set!)
Escape from NY (Same as Army, this needs a better release.)
Hell Night (This would be a real treat, one of he best slashers and would be great for Oct. with all of its costumes on display.)
Fright Night 2 (This has to be the most requested horror title, no?)
Without Warning (I haven't seen this but have heard good things, and I think it would please a lot of people.)

I'd much prefer those three over any of the Craven titles, but I'll be picking up whatever it is they announce

Though PotP seems like more of a Criterion or Synapse-style offering. Or maybe the Shout line

Still hopeful for Dolls and Leviathan, regardless of how many times Cliff shoots them down

Bad Dreams/Visiting Hours probably aren't in there, as that would not be a CE.

I know but I remember Cliff said they turned down NOTLD because they were set for 2014 -
Army of Darkness is an *I wish* title because we need a definitive USA blu ray - I know it was denied..a lot of our picks were denied, but hey its convention night !
Bad Dreams, Visiting Hours - wouldnt matter to me anyway, meh lol

Someone on a horror forum I frequent (Horror Digital) brought up that the new Power Rangers Legacy Collection that Shout is releasing includes some of the latter seasons owned by Lions Gate. Apparently they also acquired some ITC titles from them as well (The Eagle Has Landed, Voyage Of The Damned).

Is it possible Shout did the impossible and struck a deal with Lions Gate for horror titles as well? If so, that would be HUGE, as Lions Gate probably has some of the best and most sought after horror titles in their library, and since they have't had any interest is doing anything with them it's a real possibility!

Dolls would be great! Strange that they haven't went after it. I would take it over most of the Craven titles.

Yeah, I love it. Probably Gordon's second best movie, just ahead of From Beyond and behind Re-Animator

No. It was Night of the Demons (NOTD) that Cliff turned down.

I'm in the minority. I like From Beyond considerably more than Re-Animator, not to say that Re-Animator was bad (far from it, in fact).

That would mean Chopping Mall would be a possibility

From IFC, Company of Wolves and Boys From Brazil would be cool... though the current releases are region-free so I'm not sure how much interest Shout would have in them

It is now that Prince of Darkness has been announced.

No. Cliff put PotP in his Top 10 Scream Release Wishlist. Just like how Jeff put The Sentinel on his and that is a possibility.
Although I do agree with Criterion. Synapse, however, is a wild card horror company (Prom Night, Frankenhooker, and Tenebre).

Being a huge Power Rangers fan, that announcement really caught my eye but I was also intrigued about the deal made with Lions Gate for the latest seasons. One has to wonder if some horror goodies were retrieved by Scream Factory. I don't want to over speculate but tonight's announcements would be a real curveball to all of us if any Lions Gate titles were included. Time shall tell

So it's almost noon on the East coast, so about 11hrs, give or take? Until the SDCC SF panel?

Right, I meant that I consider it to be more of a cult offering, rather than cult horror
But if Ninja III is part of the line why not!

And I'm curious to see those lists. Link?

Yeah pretty much, we probably won't see the announcements hit Facebook until say 10 or 11PM east coast time.
