Prior to the MGM deal, it was indicated that there likely wouldn't be any more Corman Blu-Rays due to poor sales. Whether the MGM deal will change that position in any way remains to be seen.

I'd love a good Trancers release! As a child in the 80's, I watched it so many times on VHS. My parents recorded it off HBO. I remember Trancers 2 being decent. The rest of the sequels, not so much.

A big one on my blu-ray wish list is Psycho 2... one of the best sequels to a horror/thriller. Not as good as the original, but pretty close. That'd be awesome if Scream factory got it. I think Universal owns the rights to it. I still have my DVD triple feature Psycho set with Psycho 2 on one disc and Psycho 3 & 4 on the second disc.

I expect Psycho 2 & 3 to be part of one of their ""double features" , hopefully in HD
I think Psycho 2 was a very good sequel although not nearly as good as the first one, but it does hold up really well.

It's only tv related, I'm pretty sure Twilight Time will end up releasing it unfortunately.

Universal has the rights of the original and the sequels. As much I love the movies, I just don't see Universal giving away such an iconic franchise. It's ironic because the sequels never got the special edition treatment.

Completely agree, Psycho II is a pretty good sequel that holds up really well. It's almost as good as the original and the music from JG is great.

I actually like all of the sequels, they all have good and bad things in them. The best one of the them, is the second one. The third one is a bit too campy, but it's still fun. Compared to the second one it's a bit of a letdown though.

How hard would it be to get a release of Nightbreed?

That and after finding this:
[Show spoiler]From the wikipedia:

Mark Miller, a friend of Barker, asked if he could track down the missing 25 minutes of footage that was cut out of the director's cut of Nightbreed.[37] Miller discovered, after talking to a production executive at the studio, that the footage was never actually lost but readily accessible. When asked, a studio executive said that there was not a big enough audience to warrant the studio spending money on a new, extended cut of the film.[38] A VHS copy of Barker's 145 minute version of the film's mid-1989 workprint was recently discovered. It does not feature any of the re-shoots of Decker's murders.[39] An extended 159-minute cut version, from another VHS found in July 2009, was premiered on March 27, 2010 as part of the HorrorHound Weekend in Indianapolis.[40] This new version adds almost a whole hour that was cut from the theatrical release, including a musical and more animation. In an interview, Barker said that he hopes to bring back Danny Elfman "and give us just a little bit of extra music for it."

Found on IMDb

This would be great to obtain the extended version somehow!

Got Halloween II and III, great job on these, cmac.

I have a few suggestions for future titles, for whatever it's worth...

1: Scream Factory deserves its own logo/intro. It would be cool to have a fan contest to create one, actually.

2: Minor complaint, but scene selections in the menu would be nice. Or a Scene Selections insert in the case.

Recently it was said that the studio approved of Clive Barker seeking a petition to demonstrate interest in a release of the extended Nightbreed. There was some tenative but positive movement towards proper restoration. There is likely still a recent live internet petition to this effect.

As great that is, I just don't see them doing a reissue of the film with the new footage. Warner holds the rights and I don't think they're interested.

1: I actually don't mind that it doesn't have a logo/intro. Besides, that involves money and I don't think it's really necessary.

2: I do have to agree with this point. While I can certainly live without it, they're so useful...so I have to agree.

Warner has the rights and I don't see them doing anything about it. Besides, it recently got the MOD treatment...sigh.

im pretty sure i read not that long ago that the guys who helped find the footage for the cabal cut were given permission to try and find a buyer to get it released on dvd ot blu. of course i could just be losing my mind or have imagined the whole thing. it would be a sweet sweet victory if scream could get it though. i would buy for sure

Found H2 and H3 at my Target, but they only had the DVDs. Finally found the Blu-Rays at Meijer's. Wal-Mart didn't have either.
