To clarify: Scream Factory is going to restore and release Clive Barker's NIGHTBREED: CABAL CUT on Blu-ray. Deal closed on that TODAY.

nightbreed cabal cut is the choice announcement. that should be great. looking forward to cat people and assault on precinct 13. I don't really care for darkman or the other announcements but im happy with those 3

Cat People is a great announcement! Another hd-dvd only release that will FINALLY be available on blu-ray.
Can't wait to hear more about all these announced titles in the coming months.

I'm a bit fuzzy on how one company could own one version of the film, while another, different company can own another. I know that it has been referred to as a different film, but wouldn't some of the same footage need to be used, resulting in some problems?

I am too, those were the only two that stuck out to me either.

Definitley not like the November announcements. These weren't all biggies.

But I'm not comlaining.
And AOP13 and Darkman aren't exactly horror titles.

Agreed! Major let down, kind of had a feeling though it would be. Cat People is a solid announcement though I will give them that.

and the wait for the burbs continues. they really need to go after it with their next universal deal. who knows maybe they have it and just haven't announced it. has cliff ever shot it down?

Slightly disappointed. Why "Assault on Precinct 13"? I see nothing wrong with the current blu-ray..

But, hooray for "Darkman" and as I predicted "Nightbreed."

Really wish they could've got "Army of Darkness" to go along with "Darkman" though, the "Army of Darkness" blu-ray is incredibly lacking.
