I did. But Warner have only the Theatrical Cut. The Cabal Cut is a different film altogether. So don't expect Shout! to sublicense films from Warner (shame cuz I would love a collector's edition of Cats Don't Dance).

well, as you know I wasn't thrilled about the guessed titles to begin with so I'm very happy for an "A" title like Cat People....

now, it's on to speculate what goodies we have to look forward next year....

Darkman, maybe but not 13.The poll for Ninja 3 opened up alot of non-horror,i said that at the time.the money mwen will want anything in the scream line as its a success.

Precinct 13 has been described by Carpenter as a western-Night of the Living Dead combination, meaning it has some horror elements.

Darkman, it's a bit murkier. Don't question it though. Liam Neeson might just have to take you down.

If these are the titles they passed on Night Of The Demons for, then I have to say I'm pretty underwhelmed.

Only one I'm for sure buying is Cat People. Might check out Nightbreed too. I saw the regular version as a kid, but remember it being really boring. I honestly can't remember much about it though, so maybe I'll like it more as an adult?

I thought they were going to annouce somewhere around a dozen titles tonight? I guess I misread that way back in the thread last week?

Anyway, since I don't own any of those I am definitely in for:

Cat People
AoP13
Darkman
Saturn 3

Any of his movies could just be retitled to "Liam Neeson..."

Examples:
Darkman= Liam Neeson: Superhero
The Grey= Liam Neeson Fights a Wolf
Taken= Liam Neeson Wants His Family Back
Krull= Liam Neeson Gets Killed Off Too Early On

Disappointing! Why release Darkman and AOP13 again!? Maybe I'll pick up Cat People and Saturn 3 if it's uncut..

Right?!?! Man... I'm happy for the people who are happy... and I like these movies, but... I'm just not very excited about any of them. Not one. I'll buy them, but there are sooooo many other movies I thought were going to be picked.

Oh, well. I guess I'm just a Negative Nancy.

These are all cool announcements but to be honest I am ten times more excited about Synapse releasing Curtains and Prom Night (and possibly Prom Night II).

I get Darkman, as the last release was bare bones, just like the DVDs.
Maybe they also got the sequels to do as a double.

WAIT ONE MINUTE! Cliff said right after the new Universal deal was made public that he had no more Raimi movies. He said they only had Crimewave!

Clearly, these are all day one buys for me but I definitely didn't expect most of these. "Cat People" was truly the only one I felt was a real possibility. "Nightbreed" is hands down the crowning jewel of the announcements but I am very intrigued to see things like "Eve of Destruction" and "Saturn 3" since I've never had the pleasure before. For those that are disappointed, don't fret because after all we were treated to the unexpected announcements of "Curtains" and "Prom Night" this week plus we have countless of other unannounced Scream Factory titles on the way for 2014. Plenty of good stuff in store for us

Same here. But Scream has a lot more titles in the pipeline for 2014 that could surprise us. But in my opinion the most exciting announcement was Curtains.

Both films are variations on Rio Bravo except with zombies and gang members substituted for outlaws respectively. Rio Bravo is not horror and neither is AOP13.

Yup. Much ado about nothing. All that noise for this? Saturn 3? Eve of the Destruction? Re-releases? No The 'burbs, no The Serpent and the Rainbow, Duel, Ravenous etc. Meh, i'm gonna go and hit the sack.
