NIGHTBREED is definitely the crown jewel of this announcement. I might pick up DARKMAN if it has a better transfer than the current blu-ray and loaded with extras. Everything else I can do without.

I can understand Darkman as the Universal release is lacking greatly, but I don't see why they would release AOP13. From what I have read, the Image release is perfectly fine (unless they are going to make the special features in HD).

the nice thing about CAT PEOPLE is that all 4 lead actors are all still around... hoping for a nice retro documentary with their involvement....

Oh, well. I guess I'm just a Negative Nancy.

Nah...no negative Nancy. shout did say that they weren't going to announce anything that wasn't contractually set. Saturn 3 was a surprise. Will pick that guilty whack job film up for sure, as well as Cat People.

....still holding out hope for...

Without Warning, The Sentinel, The Car, Pumpkinhead, Burnt Offerings, Miracle Mile, Motel Hell.

I'm not double dipping on that one... my current blu is just fine... this really should have been a SHOUT release as opposed to a SCREAM release to boot

John Heard has nothing better to do. Except maybe Sharknado 2.

Wasn't expecting Saturn 3, happy to see some more sci-fi/horror. Darkman could use a new transfer, but I'm assuming it'll be the same one. Nice to get some extras though. I just saw Cat People recently for the first time in a while, and although it does have its dated moments, I found the visuals really impressed. Obviously not a 'hair' on the original, but an enjoyable experience anyway. Very happy for Nightbreed, but still curious as to what the assembled cut will look like. Thought they might announce US versions of The Car and Motel Hell though.

I'm a big fan of Assault On Precinct 13 and the Image blu-ray is good, but not perfect. But the German blu-ray is the best blu-ray I have in my collection. It's amazing! Darkman is not a very good film,so I'll stick with my Universal disc.

Wait. For Precinct 13, did Image lose the rights, or does Shout now have a deal with Image?
