I hear that every SF release that comes with a slip, should have a slip...so I guess order at your own risk.
Ninja III didn't have a slip. i still haven't opened it to look at with the commentary. I haven't seen this movie in years.

Does anyone know who owns the rights to The Dead Next Door (if it's not still with Anchor Bay)? I would love to see it get a Blu-ray release.

I have The Fog, The Howling and They Live with slips so it stinks to be missing only that one.
Slips are made during the first pressing.. after that they are gone.. The best way to make sure you get a slip for a Blu-ray you want is to pick it up release day

Scream Factory's slipcovers are not limited. Every release labeled as a Collector's Edition or if it is a new movie (2012 - present) should come with a slipcover.

I know plenty of people that ordered from Amazon or picked up from FYE and their copies didn't come with slips.. Maybe ordering directly from them is the best chance than..

I'm actually one of the people that picked up a Scream Factory Blu-ray from FYE (Deadly Blessing) and it didn't come with a slipcover. This prompted me to ask Cliff if I should've got one and he said they didn't stop pressing slipcovers for any of the titles that are supposed to have one. Thus, it is retailers basically throwing the slipcovers away that causes the problem.

yeah some retailers do throw out the slips.. very annoying.. its good that Scream Factory is still producing them.. every other studio just does the first pressing.. I believe if you contact Disney they will send you the slip

It basically seems to be a given now that anything released last year that was a Collector's Edition and should have come with a slipcover won't be coming with one now. I've talked to Cliff about it, and as others have said already, he said they're still making the slipcovers, so Amazon like everyone else is probably ditching them. Really makes no sense why an online retailer would do that.

Seems the best bet as it was said further up is to get the Collector's Editions as soon as they come out. I've been doing that and have not had one come without a slipcover.

If Amazon is ditching them now (along with everone else who Did Not during initial sales, and they aren't with newer titles, its safe to assume they aren't getting them.

Maybe Cliff should double check, no offence.

If people are getting and have gotten new CE discs with the slips, but not dated ones, its not hard to figure out. They would be throwing them all away, but the new ones have them, so that's not the case.

They aren't being produced anymore on the ones being sold from retailers, past the first pressing. But the distributor company is making them for shout store orders, not amazon, etc

If they're not limited and retailers are throwing them out, why don't they just do what Olive does and put the wrapping over the slipcover rather than just the case inside?

Ninja III is not a Collector's Edition, therefore it won't have a slip. Only Collector's Editions, I believe, come with slipcovers.

If you could rank The Island, Death Valley, and The Nest, what would that ranking be?

What would be the odds of Scream Factory (Or anyone else for that matter) ever releasing Strays (1991)? I always loved this movie when I was younger. Super cheesy and fun! I never knew it was a made-for-TV movie, though.

I am right with you on this dsman. The Nest a far number 1, Death Valley placed in the middle there, and The Island a very distant third.

I just prefer monster/creature movies and bug films I really enjoy. Death Valley was also a very good suspenseful horror - The Island wasnt much of anything to me, it's sure not a horror flick, just an adventure with some gore but just didnt find it all that interesting.
