If you're going for great titles that are standalone films, you should go:

The Howling (the sequels don't even really count, do they?)
They Live
The Fog
Halloween III (has nothing to do with Michael Meyers, good standalone story)
Funhouse

Can't go wrong with any of them.

I just got my Blu-ray copies of THE FOG and THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN and noticed something strange. On both the spine and the back cover of THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN, it has the Shout Factory logo with no mention of Scream Factory anywhere. Was this a formatting/layout mistake, and is everyone else's copy like this?

Someone posted a pic of the back cover in the official thread for the BD, and it shows the SHOUT logo intead of the SCREAM logo, just like yours.

Here are some pics of the front and back covers of the X-Ray/Schizoid double feature and Q The Winged Serpent Blu.

I would take screenshots, but for some reason the blu-ray player in my computer is not playing any blu-rays atm. I’ll have to sort that out sometime.
If anyone knows of a program that can play blu’s and capture images I’d be more than happy to post some screenshots.

I just got mine, and yes, it has Shout! logos instead of Scream Factory logos. Judging by the above photo, Q will also have Shout! logos.

Very strange. Is Scream Factory overlooking these accidentally when they are laying out the covers?

I didn't even notice at first.
Interesting that both Q and Incredible Melting Man are both just standard blu releases too and not Collector's editions or Blu + DVD editions.
However Vampire Lovers is the same type of release as Q and Melting man and it has the Scream logo.
Must be an oversight.

Does the disc art say Shout or Scream?

Having just watched it, I must disagree with myself. The Incredible Melting Man is quite deserving of its 3.4 rating. Baker's oozing FX are great, but man is there a lot of walking in this movie!

I went to the only Best Buy that had copies of The Fog in stock, and both slip covers were jacked up beyond belief. Am I s.o.l., or is there a way I can get a replacement that isn't torn and crumpled?

I can't believe you found BB stores that actually stock Shout/Scream titles. That's insane.

Was hoping for more extras for the new "X-Ray/Schizoid" double feature, but I'll take what I can get, two interviews is better than nothing obviously.

EDIT - And forgive me but what kind of movie is "Q" anyway? Does it belong more with "Scream" than "Shout!"? Face value always told me it was some kind of fantasy film but what is it really?
