speaking of Corman, I'd love to see the Carnosaur trilogy released on blu-ray. I'm sure they wouldn't warrant a collector's edition or anything like that, but it'd be awesome even to have a barebones release.

I've pretty much accepted that they'll never be available outside of DVD, but one can dream...

I think it's time to let the Corman stuff go.
Slumberparty Massascre is mentioned regularly on facebook. In the last 2 days its been asked about twice. And its seemingly very popular.

But in general, the rest of the corman line that never made it onto BD.
In particular The Evil / Twice Dead.

In their FAQs it says they do custom orders. Might be worth while to ask if they will do one for you.

This just in..

From IMDb..

Director David Schmoeller had a lot of trouble directing Klaus Kinski. For example, Kinski refused to listen to basic commands such as "action" and "cut"

I'd spoiler tag it, but its so gorgeous.

I approve.
But I wish they would announce something already.

Yes, comic con was a let down, but if they had so much in development, then in 2 weeks shouldn't they have at least 1 thing to tease us with that isn't loosely horror, or not at all??

I wonder if Cliff & co. had knowledge of this poster? Their Facebook page claimed there was never a tagline created so they used the line heard in the trailer, but this poster says different. I know the one chosen was the original theatrical but maybe for the flip side of the insert?

EDIT - Alternate poster spoiler tagged.

Thanks @Thompsonjohn. I already knew that the production for Crawlspace was a troubled one. Klaus Kinski clearly had a lot of issues and its well known that pretty much in every production he was involved problems followed. That's way I'm really hoping we can get an interview or an audio commentary with the director...imagine all the stories.

Just doing simple scan of info on IMDb brings up actually a bit more options for taglines.

So it seems the tagline they used, the one they just quoted from the trailer, really wasn't a tagline ever used on any poster art?

I remember back when MGM had their "Midnite Movies" line, they released this along with "The Attic" (1980). Of course now there's a better chance for it to have more special features but on that release only a theatrical trailer was included.

EDIT - Looking at their blu-ray art and tagline selected reminds me more and more of "Hellraiser II" with Frank being in hell and leaving messages in blood on the walls.

Me too. Actually we could possibly get double the stories if they do it up right. First we get "Schizoid" then "Crawlspace" so we're getting two opportunities to hear about him.

From IMDb trivia, Klaus..

I know speculation has been wide spread for a while now, but with Scream Factory Supposedly releasing so many films in 2014, has anyone mentioned whether or not these could be potential releases?

-Cat's Eye
-The Beast Master
-Red Sonja
-The Sentinel

These aren't my top of the list choices (The tales from the Crypt movies along with some of the other Wes Craven stuff would be there) but they seem to fit with the more recent announcements as they still fall into various sub genres and aren't likely to get releases elsewhere in the near future.

On a different note, I know Scream Factory has utilized the MGM and Universal catalogs thus far, has anyone heard if they've worked out agreements with any other studios? Even if nothing has been announced, I'd be curious to look through these other catalogs just to see what could be possible releases in the future.

This has probably been mentioned, but the director of CRAWLSPACE made a 10-minute documentary called PLEASE KILL MR. KINSKI in 1999. I have a VHS copy sitting around somewhere, but it'd be a great bonus feature on this disc.

Cat's Eye, Beast Master, and Red Sonja are not happening. The Sentinel is a possibility, since it's with Universal.

If this isn't included on the blu-ray as a bonus feature, the release will be a disappointment.

Has it been confirmed those aren't happening recently? I tried to do some checking before I posted and from what I could tell those films were still with MGM. Plus with supposedly so many releases coming I just don't know what they're going to release/where they're going to pull enough Horror titles from for release next year unless they branch out even more.

Cat's Eye and Red Sonja are with WB, now. Beastmaster is with some other company (Echo Bridge?).
