Another fun one would be Vampire's Kiss. Probably been shot down, but I'd buy it on Blu.
you and me both. I love Dantes movies. now that they announced prince of darkness a while back the burbs moves into the spot my most wanted blu ray

These are two of my favorite obscure horror films. Also The Changeling with George C. Scott, this movie scared the crap out of me. Very creepy vibe to this one.

If it was in Shout's reach I'd have definitely listed The Changeling.
Probably the scariest movie ever made...

And I should've added The Turn of the Screw adaption "The Innocents".
I love that one too!

So here's mine, of just Spooky films!

- The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane: [MGM]
Featuring a young Jodie Foster as A little girl who killed her mother and stores her parents dead taxidermied bodies in the basement of her house, then people start snooping around, dying, and she begin having 'sex' (if you can call it that?) with an older crippled boy. Btw she's 13! Its a crazy one.

- Ghost Story: [UNI.]
Four successful elderly gentlemen, members of the Chowder Society, share a gruesome, 50-year old secret that's come back to haunt them...

- Audrey Rose: [MGM]
A stranger attempts to convince a happily married couple that their daughter is actually his daughter reincarnated. And a lot of spooky things happen from there.

- Hush Hush, Sweet Charlotte: [FOX]
An aging, reclusive southern belle, plagued by a horrifying family secret, descends into madness after the arrival of a lost relative.

- Whoever Slew Auntie Roo?: [MGM]
She's Taking A STAB At Motherhood!
A demented widow lures unsuspecting children into her mansion in a bizarre "Hansel and Gretel" twist.

- The Dunwich Horror: [MGM]
Wilbur Whateley pops over to the Arkham Miskatonic University to borrow the legendary Necronomicon and Sandra Dee. But little does anyone know, Whateley isn't quite human...

- Burnt Offerings: [MGM]
Haunted house chiller from Dan Curtis has Oliver Reed and Karen Black as summer caretakers moving into gothic house with their young son... "Up the ancient stairs, behind the locked door, something lives, something evil, from which no one has ever returned..."

- I Saw What You Did!: [UNI.]
Teenagers, Libby and Kit, innocently spend an evening doing random prank calls. These calls lead to murderous consequences. Don't laugh little girls, better run for your life. The man you were talking to, has just murdered his wife!

And so many more classics.
... Or maybe I just have 'refined' tastes.

On your list Hush Hush and Burnt Offerings are my favorites - could they go HD someday ? Who's to say ???

Wow. This is an obscure one.

I would absolutely LOVE this to get a SF release. Great, eerie movie that deserves rediscovery.

hellraiser 3 is a very good horror movie. I actually like it better then part 2. don't get me wrong I like part 2 but it was really just a rehash of the far superior original. part 3 trys some new things. I think the idea of a demonic statue showing up at your door step and sweet talking you to death is very creepy. sure CD cenobite is lame but whatever.

I think anchor bay has the rights to parts 1 and 2 but if scream could get any of the first 3 hellraiser movies it would be a major score. part 3 would be ideal because it hasn't had a blu ray release that I know of.

I am a huge Hellraiser fan, I even have Pinhead tatooed on my forearm. Part 3 is my favorite film of the series but I love Part 4 not because of the space BS but because it goes into the back story of the box. There also is some "found" footage for this film they could add back in. It is in rough shape but I bet real fans are more concerned about content then quality. I am concerned about getting the best quality we can but will take what I can get as far as new footage goes on my fave films.

I'd love to revisit the movie someday, it's definitely something. The ending is a bit depressing though.

In fact, I'm not sure if any of the Criterion-style case reissues are region-free

Huh, just got a shipping notice with tracking for Scream's Up All Night Marathon vol 1 dvd (the one with Schizoid). I've had it on preorder since it was announced, but still very strange considering a)Schizoid has been replaced by What's the Matter with Helen and b)Doesn't street until Oct 8 (formerly Oct 1)

Will keep you posted, scheduled to arrive tomorrow

just got my scream all night marathon in the mail ordered from deepdiscount.com through amazon. its the version with schizoid. unfortunetly deepdiscount has the worst packaging ever. glue was all over the shrink wrap and the case was in bad shape but the art work was in good condition so I just sliped it into another 2 disc clear dvd case and its looking good. I wasn't going to open it but the glue and smashed case made me change my mind

Yes New World's rights should expire someday with Image and Scream/Shout can buy rights. I would also love to see House and Making Contact aka Joey in special edition BDs.
