My choices:

-Phantasm
-The Ninth Configuration
-Dawn of the Dead
Anchor Bay really messed up by not releasing DOTD as the Ultimate Edition with the 3 versions of the film (Theatrical, Directors, European) and the extra disc also. Hopefully with the 35th aniversary next year Anchor Bay will get their heads out of their ass.

I think that would be wonderful, despite being unlikely.

They don't have it anymore.

Who does have it? I've seen the AB version at my FYE for cheap and have held off buying in hopes of someone doing a better release.

The current rightsholder is in the middle of tranferring it to 3D.

He's not interested in licensing the film out to Shout, or presumably anyone else, at this time.

Great so we get to wait for a POS 3D version of DOTD that didn't call for one to begin with. I'll stick with my Arrow release of DOTD.

I watched Dead Souls today. I think its under rated. I went into it not expecting much and was surprised it was decent.

Dead Souls was dreadful.

I bought it anyway for support, haven't even opened it.
The TV Premiere was enough for me.

I liked it, too. I think people are too harsh on it. It's not the best, but it's definitely not the worst. I enjoyed it.

If Scream Factory were to make another deal with Fox, what four titles would you want them to pick up?

My picks:
-The Fly II
-The Legend of Hell House
-Phantom of the Paradise
-Shock Treatment

Would this be a great list of some of the CEs for 2014 or what?

-The 'burbs
-The Company of Wolves
-The Fly II
-Matinee
-The People Under the Stairs
-Phantom of the Paradise
-Raising Cain
-Shocker
-Shock Treatment
-Stepfather II (with the ITC deal, the Synapse licence may have dissolved)
-Village of the Damned

I was just thinking it might be pretty cool if stuff like psycho 4 and some of the lesser amityville features showed up on future editions of an all night horror marathon set! I wonder if its a possibility?

I like your collection, it sucks that you couldn't get the slips though. Some people say that amazon doesn't ship them with slips that often.

Those would be cool as would Tales from The Hood (Universal owns it), Nightmares, Boy Who cried Werewolf, SSssss, The Sentinel, The Black Sleep, Queen of Blood/Planet of the Vampires double feature etc.

Who should do the cover art to Darkman and Cat People?
