Of course it was a prequel to one of the biggest series of the 90s.

I just thought the prequel was made for television just like the show.

I agree, maybe not FWWM but definitely Twin Peaks.
It was, and I use this phrase loosely, practically a cultural movement.
But as quivkly as it came it faded away, but its still locked in the realm of "most people probably know about it".

Seriously, I'm surprised this hasn't been released yet on blu ray. It's such a fun movie, great musical numbers, fantastic characters, and some great satire of "reality" tv, even before The Truman Show made it more well known.

Day one buy for me when it does. I'll get whatever collector's, ultimate, anniversary, super, pooper edition they come up with.

Cliff did mention he wanted it and Phantom of the Paradise.

Shocky, as we fans call it, is a wonderful film.
Richard O'Brien said he would love to do work on a blu-ray edition, so did Patricia Quinn, and I'm sure Jennifer would too. But if they could dig up Little Nell, I'd die. She doesn't even talk about Rocky often, I'd love to hear from her and her business down-under.

Jennifer who? Do you mean Jessica Harper? Wasn't Little Nell a contributor on the lackluster DVD? Perhaps we may get an good commentary this time, with actual crew members.

Thanks... I think. Shock Treatment is the little movie that couldn't. It tries oh so very hard and just gets kicked aside for Rocky Horror and Repo! It is a testament to film not only because it is one of my favorite sequels but also because it is quite the impressive endurance test.
