Due to a poster telling me I was wrong, I have determined that the deal with two titles is for Sleepaway Camp 2&3. The other deal? Either the first or Fright Night Part 2.

The first fright night is with twilight time.

The sequels are really bad compared to the original, which is still bad but a good bad if that makes any sense.

Yes, but how else will Pamela Springsteen be on BD. Nobody can find her in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. They're too busy looking for Nic Cage and Robert Carradine.

You and me both. Also, roughly half of the horror community.

Sorry to plug somebody, but there is this show called Good Bad Flicks, and it covers many of the more underrated films in existence. There are several Scream Factory titles that have been reviewed (Ninja 3, I Come in Peace, Night of the Comet, Incredible Melting Man, etc.), and if you like the line, then you should check it out. It's one of my personal favorite internet shows.

That reminded me, who owns Project: Metalbeast?

Oh Id go about 75-85% of the horror community..
I think these will be better titles than comic-con ( but that's only because these deals weren't done in time)

The kills in sleep away camp 2 and 3 are about the most laziest ones I've ever seen in a horror movie before. It's like this 90 pound person has superhuman strength to pull off these kills.

I'm not going to speculate on what the upcoming announcements are/will be, but would anyone be interested in the first 2 Warlock films? I'd specifically want part 2 as i remember enjoying it as a kid. Who owns these films, would scream be able to license them?

[Show spoiler]
I would be immensely interested, but they're both Lionsgate films.

That's what makes the films so "campy" that she is just as destructive as Jason !

Cast my vote for Pumpkinhead
My big 3 in horror - Pumpkinhead, Fright Night II, Without Warning

What will be announced
Night Warning, The Ripper, Blood Dolls

I hope not

That's what I thought. I wasn't sure if Lionsgate still had them or not. Hopefully these will just show up during one of the usual Lionsgate Halloween roll outs of cheap titles in the near future. I know the first film was released in Germany last year, so hopefully a US release will happen sooner or later. These 2 just scream Double-Pack or Bare bones cheap release.

Yeah, they are very campy. They are the kind of movies you watch because they are so bad it's like hard to look away.

Nobody wants Curse 1 & Curse 2 (aka 'curse II: the bite', or just 'the bite') on blu ray? Blasphemy! Although the SC trilogy would be epic, so would fright night 2...

Well...

Big studios only make BIG deals, like $200K + for many films...
So you can cross off MGM, FOX, UNIVERSAL, etc. Because they don't do deals for one or two films at a time...

And they cite 2 companies (licensors) as holding 3 Films, 2 for 1 company, 1 for another company...

1) Sleepaway Camp I believe it's owned by the producer, its the only one he owns.

2) Sleepaway Camp II is owned by it's director's company, Doube Helix Films, for a fact. They also have the rights to Sleepaway Camp III, and those are the only two they seem to own.

So... I think very strongly that its the Sleepaway Camp Trilogy. IMO.
It just makes sense when you look at their Exact Words.

Btw:

Sleepaway Camp FULLY UNCUT 35mm print is with the director and he really wants it uncut on disc for the first time in good condition.

Let me put it this way: if Twilight Time somehow got ahold of Fright Night II and did a limited run, it would sell out in an hour. So right there you've got 3000 guaranteed sales . With vampires all the craze these days and the high awareness of the film (and desirability) I should think it would beome a top seller.
