Yeah Twilight Time did a great job with the first the picture and audio are top notch so i wouldnt mind them doing 2 , but it would be nice to see Scream do it to.

There would be a MUTINY if Twilight Time somehow grabbed Fright Night Part 2. 3,000 copies, even with a 1-per-order limit, probably won't satisfy the demand for the film. There isn't even a good DVD for fans to fall back on, just a crappy, full-frame DVD that's long OOP.

That's because critics are pretentious buttwipes most of the time when it comes to horror flicks. Psycho 3 is not as great as the first two films, but it's still a good movie and immensely entertaining.

I actually like Psycho IV: The Beginning better than all the other 3 sequels.

It was written by the writer of the original, and it's just fantastic, imo.

I get why you want stuff like PUMPKINHEAD and SLEEPAWAY CAMP etc but they're pretty bad movies, imo. Any of these would be preferable and more prestigious for Shout:

THE KEEP
PARENTS (a truly great film - I'd love to see this rediscovered)
DEAD KIDS
THE DEAD ZONE
THE HITCHER
THE NINTH CONFIGURATION
ROAD GAMES
THE HAND (ok it's crap but it's Oliver Stone)
ALLIGATOR

Most of those aren't an option for Shout. Maybe Road Games...but I think that's it. Haven't heard of Dead Kids, though.

Edit: Probably not even Road Games, since it's with StudioCanal

You don't get why ? Because they are not pretty bad movies at all...moreso Pumpkinhead (the sequel I will say was a dud, and they are better than your own list
Except for Alligator of course !
But its owned by Lionsgate for forget about it

Frankly, I prefer Pumpkinhead to all of those films. Now I'd love to see The Keep, The Dead Zone and The Ninth Configuration, but those are likely out of the realm of possibility for Scream (with T9C definitely out of that realm, being a Warner title).

One of my all time favorite movies is Blood Diner which is the definition of a horrible movie but I love it. Movies are not always about the movie. They could remind you of a time in your life or a person you saw it with. Sometimes the worse the movie is the better it is.

Dead Kids = Strange Behavior

The DVD was handled by Synapse, so I'd say they'd have the inside track if the film were to go Blu.

Btw:

Sleepaway Camp FULLY UNCUT 35mm print is with the director and he really wants it uncut on disc for the first time in good condition.
Oh man, if that happened I'd be totally torn because I love love love the original Sleepaway Camp but have zero interest in the sequels.

1) Sleepaway Camp I believe it's owned by the producer, its the only one he owns.

2) Sleepaway Camp II is owned by it's director's company, Doube Helix Films, for a fact. They also have the rights to Sleepaway Camp III, and those are the only two they seem to own.

If Scream Factory did get the two sequels and the first Sleepaway Camp is owned the producer, I'd like to believe he'd be willing to license it out given SF's history.

The original really needs a BD release. I'd put it near the top of the heap, if I ranked the slashers from the golden age ('78-'84).

Does the producer of the original Sleepaway Camp also own the rights to the fourth film? I could see it being the first and fourth SC movies, and FNII if they were unable to get the 2nd and 3rd Sleepaway Camp movies. Or, alternatively, SC2/SC3 and FN2.

Neither Sleepaway Camp IV: The Survivor nor Return to Sleepaway Camp (depending on which film you're referring to) are 80's films as hinted by Scream Factory. I also think Cliff would probably spring for Howling II or Psycho IV, before he tried acquiring either of those two.

Bring on the Sleepaway Camp trilogy. I will gladly take Fright Night 2 and Night of the Demons as some have speculated as well.

A Sleepaway Camp set is an instant buy.

I suppose if it turns out those are the films, I had better take the time to actually watch the Sleepaway Camp sequels. I've only seen the original, but I'd definitely get it.
