This I did not know...hum!

Yeah it didn't end happy in the original screenplay but Tony Scott wanted to have the happy ending. Tarantino has stated that his ending worked better for the screenplay but for the movie Tony made the happy ending worked better.

Personally, I like it a fair bit--but it may be more because of nostalgia than anything else. I mean, if you break the film down, it's not very good I suppose. I don't know, man. If you love pretty much everything horror-related, and you're a big Stephen King fan--I'd say go for it.

Anybody else want to chime in on Sleepwalkers?

Tony also wanted to direct Reservoir Dogs, so I guess he could change the ending to True Romance as a consolation prize. Side-note, Christian Slater is among my favorite actors. Why? Because nobody expects it.

Actually, the Coen's version of True Grit wasn't included in the deal between Paramount/WB. The only reason I could think of, as to why it wasn't--Spielberg served as an executive producer. None of Spielberg's films were included (directed or produced). See also: The Lovely Bones, Eagle Eye (!!!), Flags of Our Fathers, etc.

Well "Death Proof" is a no-brainer if you ask me.

I loved the hell out of Planet Terror, but Death Proof (as someone who missed it in the theatrical run) was sooooooooooooo boring. It's bad when I turn off a KURT RUSSELL movie 53 minutes in.

I'm with thompsonjohn. Planet Terror is goofy fun, but Death Proof is fantastic.

"Boring" is a criticism that sets off alarm bells in my head. Jackie Brown is also called boring by many, but in my opinion it's Tarantino's best.

Haven't seen Jackie Brown. Heard it's his best. Gonna be hard to be Reservoir Dogs, though.

I made a purchase of two Scream titles from Importcds.com (Halloween II and III), and two Scream titles from Deepdiscount.com (run by the same company as Importcds) (The Fog and The Funhouse).

In each case, one title came with a slip (Halloween II, The Fog), and one title came without a slip (Halloween III, The Funhouse).

I agree, usually on facebook they'll never be afraid to tell you no, or not at the current time, but they have made zero effort to respond to the hordes of people thinking they have it.

And maybe all the "biggies" they have are going to be later on in the year, and that's why they didn't announce them. Considering the last quarter of 2013 is filled with good "biggies", it makes sense that the ones they filled inbetween the biggies were junk titles... Just a thought.

If you get the Collector's Editions they should def have the slips with them if its a regular release it most likely wouldn't.

Yeah, not a good sign on you and I agreeing. I think Reservoir Dogs is hands-down Tarantino's worst film, and actually quite mediocre just as a movie in general. The scene of Mr. Blonde in Joe's office, interrupted by Nice Guy Eddie is excruciating; most of the dialogue feels stilted and overwritten compared to other stuff Tarantino has done; and stylistically, it's nothing to write home about. Really, the only thing I like about it is the Tim Roth thread; the scene of him telling the drug dog story is the best part of the film.
