Let's not start that. It's pointless. I know you're making a joke but its going to get someone going and the thread will turn into this discussion.

lol,

My actual 3 hopes if they do announce tommorrow would be

Shocker
Fright Night part 2
Leviathan(though id take Without Warning for you know who)

Think it would be the Sleepaway Camp trilogy and id be might happy with that too.

^ I'd be happy with any slasher movies! But it'd be even better if there were some that were not on DVD yet.

Yeah but the hint was it is 3 popular films from the 80's so if they weren't on DVD I don't know how popular they could have been...but popular is a pretty relative term so I don't know exactly what Scream meant by "popular".

That's why Im hoping for Without Warning - no USA release of it ever - this is a popular movie that hasn't had a release and its 1980. We'll see, fingers crossed...Id go for Leviathan, Pumpkinhead, Fright Night II , Sleepaway Camp, some true headliners
Seems like we are hoping for stuff on Cliff's no list

-Sleepaway Camp
-Sleepaway Camp 2: Unhappy Campers
-Sleepaway Camp 3: Teenage Wasteland

Alternate:
-Fright Night Part 2

I know this is kind of off the current topic but still pertaining to Scream Factory. Has anyone else noticed the drastic jump in pre order price? They have always been at least 19.99 at one point, but they have jumped up to around 26.94 (Body Bags). As much as I like these movies that is an insane price for a decent amount of extras but no booklet and regular packaging with a slip. Am I crazy?

So I had a very strange dream last night. It was very odd, and while I won't go into details, one part was really awesome. In my dream, Scream had released collector's editions of all 10 Halloween films. It was insanely cool. Except that I got extremely bummed when I woke up and realized that it didn't, and probably never would happen

Depends when you pre order. I think its cheaper when the pre order first goes live. I have Body Bags pre ordered on Amazon for 20.95 I do see its back up to 26.94 though. That will probably change on release day.

It will definitely go down in price again. Importcds always has them under 20 (but no free shipping), if amazon fails to drop the price.

It's speculation only. Scream Factory stated they were "thisclose" to acquiring three 80's titles in two separate deals and that they would announce them when the deal closes.

Id LOVE a Friday announcement but there are no guarantees. Lets all keep our fingers crossed... The best clues are popular 80s titles so I hope their definition of popular doesn't differ than ours . I do think this could be some stuff that is really sought after, but who knows

I have Amazon prime so I pre order most of my scream titles through them. However I do have Psycho 2 and 3 along with Scanners 2 and 3 pre ordered through MovieStop because If you trade in any 2 movies worth 3.00 or more you get a free new release.

But we can all agree that the deal for two titles are probably the Sleepaway Camp sequels. Or two unrelated entities.

Can anyone give a recommendation to either Barton Fink or Miller's Crossing? I want to buy a Coen Brothers box set and haven't seen them yet. I ask here because you guys are some of the best film buffs I can think of.

If you like the Coen Brothers movies, you'll love those two. I imported that same set and actually ended up liking A Serious Man more.

The only ones that I didn't like were Hudsucker Proxy, Ladykillers, and Burn After Reading (although with the last two it may just necessitate a rewatch).
I loved Fargo, Lebowski, Raising Arizona, O Brother, Man Who Wasn't There, Intolerable Cruelty, and True Grit.

LadyKillers was great, my favorite of their films, imo.
