Barton Fink is exceptional--maybe my favorite Coen Brother movies.

Like I said, maybe I just saw it in the wrong state of mind. It is deserving of a rewatch, unlike Hudsucker Proxy (and this is coming from a Sam Raimi fanatic). Whenever Raimi and the Coens team up, in my opinion, it ends in disaster.

Just to tie my topics together, who thinks that the Coens should do, not a thriller, not a comedy, but a flat-out horror project soon. They're no strangers to broadening their genre capabilities, what with True Grit (a western).

Personally, I think Miller's Crossing is a perfect 10/10. The music, dialogue, cinematography, etc--all unbelievably good. It's a movie made for movie lovers. I would also rate Fargo a 10/10 (the only other Coen's film I would rate that high), to give you some perspective.

One of the best Simpsons jokes had to do with Barton Fink.

So, let's assume we might hear the titles tomorrow, which ones are your money on?

Deal 1: (UFDC > Robert H.)
- Sleepaway Camp

Deal 2: (Double Helix Films)
- Sleepaway Camp 2: Unhappy Campers
- Sleepaway Camp 3: Teenage Wasteland

My two-cents.

Ever since I saw The Cinema Snob review those movies, I actually really want to see them in their entirety. Especially 2 and 3.

So, hopefully these do get announced. It would make me a......happy camper.

I love the cover of Part 3. A random large-breasted woman holding a butcher knife that is not found anywhere in the film.

If Sleepaway Camp had been a Paramount title around 2005, it could have been the "Look at All That Young Fresh Chicken" Edition.

What he's referring to is after the Divimax release (second DVD release), some alterations were made to the audio track, specifically, some of Terry Alexander's lines.

Early in the film, they replace the word shit with right. That's the most glaring one I remember, though there are a few more.

Also, any word on who's in the documentary?! We have several people with disc in hand but no word on the new extras.

Maybe I should try the Sleepaway Camp movies again but I tried to watch the first and couldn't get through it.

The movie is fondly remembered thanks to the final 30 seconds. You can literally watch the whole movie in fast forward until the last minute, but the ending is so great/bizarre/unsettling that suddenly the whole film seems a lot better then it really is. With that said I hope scream gets it as it is something I would like to own on blu as it's been a long time since I watched it.

Oh my goodness Not making to the end of Sleepaway Camp should be a capital offence. Not because you couldn't make it through it but because of what you miss out on.

Speaking of that if Scream did a Collector's Edition I would almost want that on the newly designed art(too bad that won't happen because of the spoiler nature and all).
