To me that's exactly why this is a realistic option. If it's owned by the Director then they would only make a one or two movie deal, which fits in line with them saying they are about to sign three movies from two different companies.

Also, Scream loves releasing parts of a series (Halloween 2+3, Phantasm 2, Ninja 3, Abominable Dr. Phibes, The Howling, ect.). The only series they have actually fully released is the Amityville Trilogy, and even that can be argued as there are a bunch of straight to video sequels. I do hope that they will eventually release the Sleepaway Camp trilogy, but I could see them just releasing part 1 or just part 2 and 3 which would be a big disappointment to me.

Maybe one of these will be the "one with the big fan-base"??
These would be great! I just think Fright Night 2 would be too good to be true. It seems like one of those movies that will never get released as no one knows who owns it. I hope I am wrong as I would love to see it! I don't know if Without Warning is a big enough title even though it does have some very loyal followers. It's one I want to see though so I would be happy if this was one of the titles announced, if not just to shut up dsman .

I would love for it to be Hell Night, one of my most wanted on Blu! Midnight Hour would be another great one. Even though it is a TV movie it is long sought after and has been OOP for almost a decade now!

I would love for it to be Fright Night II. I watched Sleepaway Camp the other night for the first time. I enjoyed it. My Dad's College Roommate plays the lifeguard who finds
[Show spoiler]Kenny's
body. I might watch the second and third tonight.

But they said they're announcing the deal for TWO MOVIES from ONE COMPANY.

Sleepaway Camp is the sole film owned by the direcor.
Maybe as the single film, but not this deal. It doesn't fit the hint.

And if it is something like Shocker, Motel Hell, or Shock Treatment, that wouldn't fit the hint either.

They're all from different companies, and BIG ones at that.

I am seriously out of guesses. I have no clue, its too vague, imo.

I think you guys know what Im guessing
And for my sake and sanity I hope this is finally the day *WW* gets announced
Well yes, that one and lets go with Pumpkinhead...
Fright Night II would be my wildcard title in this ...
I think these will suffice as big enough with a large following
And these would be part of a new MGM deal (if its WW and PH)
It will not be/shot down today
The Burbs
Hell Night
Fade to Black
Theater of Blood

I don't think its Shocker or People Under the Stairs
It could be Motel Hell or Sleepaway Camp ..but I don't think so...hunches really

I wish it was Hell Night / Fade to Black, but those got shot down earlier today.

Anchor bay released them last
Yes, but the rights are no longer with them at this time.
I'm going with:

Night of the Demons / Witchboard (Paragon Arts International)

or

Fright Night Part II / Nightflyers (Vista Organization / New Century Vista Film Company)

I'll go with "Night of the Demons" (final answer) and I'll say a Universal title for the other... either "The 'burbs" in lieu of Arrow's announcement or "Pumpkinhead".

Makes me wonder what their definition of *POPULAR* is when every logical choice was shot down

Except for Pumpkinhead , Sleepaway Camp, Shocker and People Under the Stairs , Leviathan, and Motel Hell

I just don't think the requests for Shocker or People are as big as what was shot down though...
Even the Burbs was shot down
What are we getting more Eve of Destruction like titles lol !!

I'm thinking Night of the Demons and Witchboard.

It's not too crazy to think they may have gone back and picked them up, and NOTD would certainly fit the bill for the one that's been frequently requested, and they're both owned by a single company. 2 film from 1 owner.

I went back and read through the comments, and this seems very possible.

EDIT:

Apparently, some one beat me to it. Lol.

But they're both from the same, single company.

I agree with NOTD though.
