If it did, they wouldn't be on Anchor Bay's website, but they're there. Though you are correct, zbinks; Phantasm I, III, and IV are owned by Starway International but Anchor Bay appears to hold some of the rights (home video, TV, and internet VOD). Personally, I'd rather see those 3 come on Blu-ray from Anchor Bay and honestly I don't think they'll screw those up (a few mistakes to some previous releases, yes but I feel confident with the Phantasm films).

I really don't think it's the Phantasm series. I know they're releasing the second one, but all of the others ones are still Anchor Bay properties. That being said, even if for some reason or another AB's rights have expired, it will probably be like Halloween. AB's rights to Halloween had recently expired and they quickly renewed their contract.

Whatever ends up being the mystery box set, it's so far off I don't even want to think about it. I'd rather focus on what's on the horizon. Hell, even January still sems like an eternity even though it's only 3 months away. Still dying to know the Phantasm II details, though.

Yeah its too far off, although I admit box sets are fun to take a stab at. Ill take the announcements as they come. And we have another Friday coming right up.

I know I did. the cast was pretty much fodder for the killer, and they were unlikable anyway, but the suspense and gore was really good

I just watched the Arrow disk of The Funhouse again the other night, and now I'm really interested to hear what Tobe has to say about the carnival worker that "saves" the little brother and is gently caressing his face with the wet cloth.

So there's no chance that we'll be getting Ms. 45? Maybe if Shout! saw the fans on Facebook, and on here, they'd change their mind. Its really an amazing movie, and I'd love to see it on blu-ray sometime soon...

Yeah, that's the ticket. Can we change their minds?

That is extremly dissappointing. Of all the titles that have been thrown about, even including the Halloweens II and III already purchased, its the one I was most excited about when brought up. I really didnt want to import but I may may have to bite the bullet.
