Bad Dreams/Visiting Hours double feature coming early 2014!

Two underrated gems - 1988's BAD DREAMS (starring Nightmare on Elm Street 3's Jennifer Rubin) and 1982's VISITING HOURS (starring Scanners' Michael Ironside and William Shatner!) - will be making their Blu-ray debuts as a double feature in early 2014. That's a lot of hospital horrors if you also include our previously released X-RAY and HALLOWEEN II into the mix.

Some of you may be aware that Shout Factory released this double feature already on DVD only in 2011 as a "Killer Double Feature". All the extras from that release will be ported over including new extras that are in the works for VISITING HOURS (which had only TV spots and a still gallery at the time.). No firm details to report on them at this time.

Artwork is not final but expect it to look close to what's presented here.

I was the same way until earlier this year, but neither film was anything Id watch over again..I didn't think they were anything great but peoples tastes are all different so I would certainly check them out !

You just don't like less-than-mainstream Slashers

For people that do, these are great.
Two classic 80s Slashers.

Visiting Hours is straight up Psycho-Killer, and Bad Dreams is a supernatural-cult Splatter movie, ala Boogeyman. Both are good for b-movie horror flicks from the golden era of their creation.

I definitely remember watching "visiting hours" it was very good as far as slashers go. Never heard of the other one though.

I might have to upgrade from the DVD, if the new special features for Visiting Hours are worth it.

Rawhead Rex has been turned down time and time again, because apparently the producer(?) refuses to licence the film to anyone. Rather a shame, too.

Visiting Hours is alright but Bad Dreams is very good imo. Richard Lynch was always an excellent bad guy.

Visiting Hours is a nonsensical mess and borderline MST3k material, but Bad Dreams had an interesting premise, even if the execution isn't particularly successful. I'll still buy 'em all though. Except for the new stuff, of course.
