If SF released a nice blu-ray of the original NOTLD, I would definitely bite as I am sure many others would. I mean it's NOTLD!

Witchboard was never a personal favorite, but I'm really excited anyway.

I haven't watched any of the Witchboard films before (Only being familiar with them through the VHS box art when I was younger), I plan on picking up both Witchboard 2 this year and part 1 next year when it releases. For those that have watched both, are the films related/linked? Would I be ok watching Part 2 first (since it's being released this year), or does part 2 continue the events of part 1 meaning I should save it until i can watch them in the correct order?

The Happinet edition is excellent, as has already been extensively covered.

But the Happinet has two commentaries in addition to the 'Fire' doc, and has a higher bitrate than the Optimum, which likely makes a difference on a larger screen.

Do you think they will have reversible art for this release with the original AB art on the reverse side? (I'm hoping they do, as I prefer the AB art.)

I'm hoping for a centerfold of Tawny.

Their non-CE releases typically have a production still(s) and/or various foreign posters as a collage on the reverse, so I wouldn't think they'd include a cover commissioned by a competitor for a previous release. They might include this alternate poster in the reverse collage though.

I love movies like Witchboard. Nice art, better than the Anchor Bay version. Was there a Witchboard 3?

The UK is more of a cheaper option, for £7.25 and with great picture quality. Also the UK release comes with the documentary but no commentaries.

I wish amazon would get more stock of X-Ray / Schizoid. this is a title that probably has sold more than Shout/Scream imagined

The link doesn't work...or maybe it's just with me.

I just clicked it and it worked fine. I'd post the image here but Photobucket has informed me I've reached my 10 GB cap. This was the link:

http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV...zODQ@._V1_.jpg

Edit: The only link I could find was this IMDB one, perhaps they block linking? The image is of a girl sitting in the dark illuminated by a spotlight and holding the Ouija board.

The sequels are self contained new stories, with different characters. The only element that ties the sequels together is the Ouija board. Basically you can watch the second with no problems.
