Awesome, thanks for the heads up!

I got it to open by right clicking and copying link location, weird. Anyway that art is nice too!

While the first one is better, the second is still pretty good and certainly a lot of fun.

This debate made me cave and buy the Happinet version from CDJapan for NOTLD. I hate to say it but I guess this is the best version we are likely to get. Wasn't bad ($31 US, that includes Fed Ex International 3 Day). This is off topic I know so I'll add this: I can't wait for Night of the Demons and Witchboard.

With Twilight Time confirming a deal to release MGM/UA titles from next year (2 per month), it'll be interesting to see if they go for some titles which Scream have yet to put out, like:

Pumpkinhead
The Dark Half
Sometimes They Come Back
Monkey Shines
The Believers
The First Power
Raw Meat/Death Line
Burnt Offerings

They're some that spring to mind at least, for various reasons. I know people won't like this, but TT know horror titles sell big, so it's a strong probability they'll try and get some of these (that is, if Scream don't secretly have some of them already).

I'm sure TT will be going after more horror titles - they help keep their business afloat since they sell out faster than their other selections.

Their first deal was just for SOME UA / ORION films, via MGM.

Anything else is still in Shout's reach, presumably.

All I want is a Scream Factory release of Squirm (and Motel Hell and Deranged and...). Is that too much to ask?

From MGM, Motel Hell is my number one.

I don't buy TT ever, so I hope they don't have it.

I'm about to order some Arrow blu ray releases, but I'm afraid that Scream Factory might put some of them out soon after. I don't know much on all the studios and who owns what, I just go by what i read on this thread. But Arrow's releases look really nice. Motel Hell is one of those I'm thinking of buying.

I hate TT as well. I really hope/wish "Scream" would do "The Dark Half" though above any other MGM release just considering it is a great underrated title. Not to mention it's George Romero doing Stephen King.

I was happy that some of the older SF releases are still shipping with slips

I ordered Phantasm II, Prison, The Fog, and From Beyond, all came with their slip

Still waiting on a good price for The Town that Dreaded Sundow.

-Cat People
-Die, Monster, Die!
-Night of the Demons
-Witchboard

I'd be ok if Twilight Time got this one as this feels like something they'd release. Hopefully the rest are released by Scream or someone else though. I hate the idea of me continuing to spend $35+ on Bare Bones editions of B movies. I'm happy that TT exists and are able to put out films that otherwise might not happen on Blu Ray, but dealing with TT is far more effort then it's worth. Between having to watch the pre-order info like a hawk just so you don't miss out on a film that sells out in less then 24 hours, dealing with Scalpers, and then spending a pretty large sum for a disk with nothing but the film and a Soundtrack, it get's old quick if they suddenly get multiple films people care about that follow this pattern.

Here's an idea TT... Stop licensing out crap that doesn't have a dedicated fan base, go for the same market Scream Factory is catering to so well, and instead of printing only 3000 copies of a film double up on these Horror movie's you release (6000 copies total). You still won't be able to compete with Scream Factory (Custom covers, slipcase, Plethora of extras) but at least you'll eliminate 2 of the headaches associated with your releases... the Pre-order pandemonium and the Scalpers on the secondary market.

You think we'll get Witchboard and Night of the Demons that quick? I was under the impression that the deal was just signed days ago and that they wouldn't start working on these releases until the end of the year, putting them into mid-late 2014. I hope you're right though because that's way better!

I think they'll be early 2014, most likely January.

Something has to be set for Jan, and these are the only ones they've announced so far.
