Goo-Gone = off in seconds, leaving the slip in mint condition.

Already tried it. It takes the image and color off the cardboard. Whatever it is with that kind of sticker only Wal-Mart uses is a b1tch to get off. I've lost my "Mud" and "Spring Breakers" covers due to that b itch, the sticker won't come clean off it leaves sticky residue in its place then I use "Goo-Gone" to try to remove the stickiness and it takes the color right off the case.

"Goo-Gone" won't hurt some slips, mainly the glossy ones, say like how the Marvel slips are, but "Goo-Gone" on cheap Lionsgate slips it will take the color off.

Must be bad luck for you. I've used Goo-gone on hundreds of slips, gloss/non-gloss, even those pesky WM stickers, with never a problem.
For me it's quite simple: If the sticker doesn't pull easily, a couple drops of Goo-gone, wipe all over the sticker, let sit for a few minutes, then wipe away.
Works 100% of the time, all the time.

Maybe this was common knowledge but I just figured it out after seeing a clip of Romero on the set of Creepshow while watching the doc on DoTD.. Maybe Shout is still working out the details with Warner but I think it's a definite possibility.
I wouldn't hold my breath on it. Warner's had the US distribution rights ever since it's 1982 theatrical release. I think the international rights do reside elsewhere, but Warner's rights to the film in the US are probably perpetual.

I've had same issues with you on some slips from Walmart that have certain finish coatings such as Rapture Palooza or the Bling Ring, for example. What I did was peel it off very slowly which left the entire sticky layer on the slip, but all the paper came off. It's as if the sicker split apart into halves. Then i just took my thumb and 'rolled' the sticker residue on the slipcover. This eventually rolls all of the sticker residue into balls which you can take off.

It's an irritating process, but I found it works.. if it bothers you that much.

I've never had to use it on a lenticular cover. With the ridges of the lenticular cover, every sticker I've encountered comes off super easy.

Any word if Phantasm, Phantasm III, and IV would ever get a BD update from Scream considering that MGM isn't doing anything with them?

I'll give it a try I guess, cant hurt. Ive had a few stickers that have peeled right off, but seems the ones from Best Buy have really "drippy" glue that melts into the grooves.....a real nightmare.

I hope Amazon drops the prices of Prince Of Darkness and the Psycho sequels to their usual $19.99 range before Tuesday. It'd only save $1 on each, but still. Most of their releases have dropped to that price around release date. Mine just entered the shipping phase.

Its without a doubt the best Chiller film ever made (if only because they didn't actually "make" it).

I'd love it.
I hope so! I skipped Dead Souls, but will definitely be picking this one up.

You may have already figured it out by now, but I had to get one of those dreaded "nothing" Wal-Mart exclusive stickers off a lenticular and "Goo-Gone" won't hurt it. You'll just be left rubbing off the residue which can become a chore if your a perfectionist like me.

We kid you not when we say that this is one bizarro film. (Those of you who've seen this know what we're talking about.) On Blu-ray on 11/19.

I really wish stores would start getting Scream Factory stuff. I always get them from importcds since they seem to be the cheapest and I never get them on time. I dont know why but the shipping is always screwy with them. Psycho 2 and 3 shipped 6 days ago and it still says its at the first stop in the tracking. This is pretty much how it is every time I order from them. But... they are the cheapest so I gotta deal with it I guess.

I guess it depends where you live.

I picked up PRINCE OF DARKNESS here in Winnipeg about two hours ago. They always stock Scream and Shout titles.

Just thinking today, as I know that it has very little chance of happening. How great would it be if Shout! Factory could make a deal with Studio Canal?
We could get:
-Highlander SE
-Roadgames BD
-The Wicker Man BD
-Near Dark SE
-Trick or Treat BD
-Maximum Overdrive BD
