Maybe they are doing a 31 days of Halloween and are going to announce a new title every day for the entire month

They were distributed by Republic on VHS, but, like Scanners II and Scanners III, they might not be part of the Republic library anymore. They're not MGM titles either as there are no MGM logos on the Scanners II / Scanners III Blu-Ray packaging.

IMDB lists Screen Media Ventures as the company that holds worldwide distribution rights to all of the Scanners sequels. If that's true, Scanner Cop and Scanner Cop II may very well be part of the 2014 Scream Factory schedule.

That's some wishful thinking.

I think every day is a bit of a stretch, but an announcement every day of the week (excluding the weekend) would be cool.

Maybe a short Friday announcement revival, but I doubt they're going to announce 20+ titles this month.

Oh yeah, I doubt it too.

Methinks what they're going to do is a combination of announcements and daily sales. That's what I'm almost positive they're going to do.

Probably only if 2&3 sell well. I want to see the sequels, as I thought that the first movie wasn't very interesting (until the last third) and think that they'll be much more fun.

Ps- they also apparently own Jack's Back, Suspiria, the Howling sequels (3-6), and Return of Swamp Thing. Let's hope its a deal with them.

Guessing its a month mostly of sales with the usual release of extras and stuff though i expect for the 31st there may be a big announcement.

That's lame, I thought it was going to be a sale, oh well, good thing I ordered my Scream titles from DeepDiscount when they were having that huge sale this past weekend.

Today isn't a sale, but there are still 30 more days. I'm sure there will be at least 1 day of sales.

Screen Media Ventures may have held the worldwide distribution rights at one time, but it looks like that may no longer be true. I also think someone may have passed some inaccurate information through on IMDB as Blue Underground did not have DVD/Blu-Ray rights as of 2011 to my knowledge. If they did, we surely would have seen a US Blu-Ray release by now.
