Entered the contest (sorry, TripleHBK!) and went ahead and ordered Halloween II. The recent Deep Discount 15% off sale brought several Scream Factory titles to under $16, but Halloween II wasn't one of them.

There are several other I'll be ordering if they dip into similar or lower prices this month, especially new releases like Day of the Dead and Prince of Darkness.

I'm tempted to buy Halloween II but I'm not sure if it's a good sequel. I haven't seen it since I was a kid. Only thing I can remember is that it starts right where the first film ended, and I also remember it not being as terrible as the rest of the sequels.

Any differences between the Scream Factory's American and Canadian releases? It seems the latter is released by Entertainment One Films Canada. But the picture on Amazon Canada seem to suggest that both releases are identical. Is this true or is the Canadian release multilingual(French on the cover etc)? I'm asking because some of their releases seem to be cheaper there. I also think I should have better chances getting their older releases with a slipcover from Canada. Thanks.

My thoughts exactly. I'm hesitating a little should I pull the trigger on that one.

It's a fairly cheap price, but I don't want to get stuck with a movie I might not like. I guess I could always sell it to a friend, but knowing my friends, I'm not sure if any of them would want it.
