If you're still working on it, the recolored pre-credit sequence should look great.
I've always thought it looked kinda off, and mirky. Last edited by redrunner97; 10-05-2013 at 01:24 AM. |

Ninja 3 was more of a niche-cult title that appealed to a few that repeatedly hammered for it over and over. I liked it, but must be honest, haven't picked it up yet. Deadly Blessing was Jeff's pick, and while I love it, no one really clammored for it, mainly because it was among the 1st titles announced by Scream Factory last Summer, to launch the label. |

Damn is My Tutor and Tomboy selling that poorly? Maybe they will pick up in nov.? I know right now I am all about horror moves but plan on grabbing both of these once Halloween is over. Plus to be honest I am more excited for Pom Pom Girls and Beach Girls than I am the first two. Either way hopefully sales pick up as there are so many teen romps we still need on Blu!

I was under the impression Ninja III was a sequel in-name-only. If this is the case, there's really no need to release a trilogy if the films aren't related story-wise. Not saying the first two films shouldn't be released, just that it's a standalone story that can be enjoyed on it's own. That being said, how much of a demand is there for Ninja movies? |

I did my part as well. I've had Deadly Blessing, Ninja III and Rolling Thunder since their releases.
Damn. It ties into a similar comment that Cliff made on one of the threads once about comedies not selling THAT well on Blu (which means I'll have to get around to importing Arrow's release of The Last American Virgin, since that'll probably be the only way to get that on Blu). If it helps, I'm doing my part; I ordered a copy of My Tutor the other night... |

No matter how in demand a film is, it's never going to sell like gangbusters if it's only available online. Shout/Scream need to try and get these on more retail shelves (near impossible I know) if they want sales to increase dramatically. Also, when you crank out more then 1 or 2 titles per month it becomes cost prohibitive for prospective buyers to purchase everything. I plan on purchasing around 80% of the total Scream Factory lineup, but I also like purchasing movies from other labels so sometimes the Scream titles get pushed to the back burner. I still have plans to purchase Deadly Blessing (and I already own Ninja III), but I've just got to find the right time as there are several other titles I'd still prefer first.

I'm the exact opposite. I loved Revenge of the Ninja and Ninja III, but never really cared for Enter the Ninja. Mostly because Sho Kosugi was forced to take a back seat to Franco Nero when it was obvious he(Nero) knew nothing about martial arts or being a ninja. I am grateful that the movie did introduce Kosugi to western audiences and would still pick it up if Shout released it on blu. However, I also want Kosugi's 2nd best behind Revenge and most serious movie in tone which is Pray for Death. It's not a Cannon film, but MGM has the rights and it would be amazing to finally have an uncut blu.

I've been wanting to check out Rolling Thunder, just haven't because there's so much coming out this year so I was waiting for a sale, maybe closer to $9.99. Hopefully during this sale!
And to the person that was throwing it out there that they might be working on Slumber Party Massacre, I sure hope so! |

Also, keep in mind people, just because we don't hear about it here doesn't mean people aren't demanding titles elsewhere through Facebook/Twitter ect. and good old fashioned e-mails to contacts on their website. There's still a large horror community out there who I'm sure are still on DVDs only I guess.
They do need to get in more stores though. They did say "Halloween II" and "Halloween III" too I believe are their biggest sellers not just because they're popular mainstream horror films, but also because they got them in "Target" stores. I have no idea if Best Buy carried them in-store or not. However, I think it's been mentioned already, but I did spot the "Day of the Dead" (DVD only, which is stupid.) in Wal-Mart, so good for them on that, atleast it's some progress. Let's not forget though we did get some great news today, despite no new announcements so far tonight. "Crawlspace" is going to have director commentary and the "Please Kill Mr. Kinski" documentary. "The Horror Show" aside from the commentary is going to have a Kane Hodder interview. |

I've ordered psycho 2 & 3 they came in bubble mailer as well as the amityville trilogy which came in a box probably because of the poster from usps all arrived undamaged and very quick. The poster was ripped due to the envelope not being sealed and it getting stuck to the glue but there sending another out as I type.
