Maybe Cliff can chime in here, but I was wondering why this bad boy didn't get a blu-ray release:

Even if it just got an exclusive release thru Shout Factory's website (Shout Select), that would pretty much hit the spot for me.

Would love to see:

DRACULA (1979)
with the original COLOR cinematography (not the tinted John Badham version that ended up on DVD and laserdisc)

Anyone know if Westworld is owned by MGM? They released it on DVD years ago.

I also would love that movie on Blu-ray and suggested it in the past, though I strongly doubt Universal has access to an HD master without that tint. Providing both versions on one disc would be incredible. I wouldn't even need extra features for it. It was popular enough for Walmart to carry the DVD in all its locations at one point.

I'm waiting for more titles from Universal Studios thru Scream Factory. I mean you got PRINCE OF DARKNESS,THE SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW,SHOCKER,PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS, THE CAR, SSSSSSS,DEMON KNIGHTand so on. I know Scream has many titles still to be announced but I'd be happier just knowing what is to come. I'm ready for FROM BEYOND to make its HD debut.

I'm also curious to see what other Universal properties are up their sleeves but for the meantime I'm more than satisfied with them raiding the MGM vaults for as long as they can.

im pretty sure The Fog is coming through Scream Factory. They have posted on their website that their going to a The Fog Cast reunion in November. Put two and two together. If not, i guess they are die hard fans of the movie like me

Btw I watched the Island today on cinemax Hd for the first time and it was surprisingly awesome. I loved every second of it. Cmac, you definitely know how to pick up titles that alot of people are sleeping on.

Unfortunately, Scream Factory commented with this in regards to "The Fog":

"We have not announced that we are doing The Fog at this time. Sorry".

I have high hopes that "The Fog" will be coming in the future from them but I'm sure it's just something they can't come out and announce at this time. Plus, they'll be announcing new titles that weekend at their panel discussion. That would be a splendid time to lay the news out for all us horror fans
