Part 3 has missing gore that would definitely benefit from being restored in HD.
The film itself would be better with the gore back in it too. Even the suppossed "Uncut" releases of all three films are still cut, just less so than others.
The Anchor Bay dvd's of Sleepaway Camp and Sleepaway Camp 3 were both cut. They did however release Sleepaway Camp 2 completely uncut from what I've read. Scream Factory is releasing the original uncut next year, and if they do indeed have the rights or will be acquiring the rights to part 2 and 3, I hope they are able to restore the missing gore to the 3rd movie. It looks like it's only been released uncut on an old German dvd.
So what have we been watching. I pigged out on Sees Halloween Candy (great when your diabetic) and have watched Halloween (new release) and I want to check out the new release of the Exorcist..
Cheerleader Camp is now with Code Red, so they can't release that.
I know Code Red scooped up a few films that Anchor Bay originally had such as "Spontaneous Combustion" but this is the first I've heard of them nabbing "Cheerleader Camp". Great news but where'd you see that news?

But as for Cheerleader Camp, I think I heard a rumor, but I mistyped.
Its far from confirmed.
I'm not sure who has the rights these days, but I wouldn't mind seeing a Scream/Shout release of the Albert Pyun sci-fi B movie Nemesis (1992). The out of print dvd was released by Imperial Entertainment back in 1998.
Seconded heartily. Along with Split Second this would go really well with Dark Angel and Ninja III.

The wife and I watched the 35th last night too. First time I saw it start to finish(the new BD), and loved it. I then watched all the extras...it was neat to see Cliff posing with Jamie Lee Curtis in the "Night She Came Home" bonus feature.

Wouldn't it be interesting if the new artsist incorporated a naked Angela into the art, and the traditional Scream Factory sticker is over the you-know-what, and says UNCUT in big red letters?

I know Scream usually goes for 80s and 70s (and sometimes 90s) titles, but what about...
Cherry Falls (2000)
Normally I wouldn't suggest Scream go after a title from 2000, but Cherry Falls has been neglected since its release 13 years ago. It was intended to get a theatrical release in Fall 2000, but got dumped on the USA Network and was severely butchered. I don't know if any of the cut footage (supposedly NC-17 worthy) still exists, but Scream could only do good for this title. The one and only DVD release it got (in 2001) is long out of print and was piss-poor to begin with. It was a double feature DVD paired with Terror Tract. I guess USA had no faith in Cherry Falls selling on its own individual release. It also contained no extras. Sadly, Brittany Murphy (RIP) is no longer around.
More reasonable than Doug Bradley. He wanted $20 just to shake his hand. And autograph was $40. A picture was $50.

I sincerely hope, for those that may be blind buying this title, Scream Factory wouldn't allow a major spoiler to find it's way into the artwork.
