As someone who thinks the Scream Factory artwork is atrocious on these releases and wants to mostly use the original cover art from when the movie was released, I could care less about the Slipcovers which only feature the new art.

The slipcover thing is a fiasco anyway and never goes anywhere good -- excedt a $20 bill into my wallet when I sell them.

Best to buy a new movie over having a slipcover instead.

I am looking forward to buying Body Bags next. I watched The Gas Station on youtube to see if this movie still held up for me. I haven't seen it since 1993 or 1994. Fortunately, I still liked the segment enough to warrant a purchase.

OK thats just sad..lol, but you may be right which is even one more sad.. It's a piece of friggin cardboard and in the case of many of the artwork for Scream titles...bad cardboard art.lol. They are nothing but a pain if nothing else. If this forum got rid of every post that had a slip reference we would be missing half the posts on the board...sad sad sad. I for one would not miss the slips a bit..I sold off all but two of mine and will probably either throw those out or sell as well to some sucker...errr I mean some film enthusiast . It's all about the movies and would prefer some little booklet about the movie then a piece of cardboard. They should take a vote. Sorry for the rant but gheez so sick of slip talk.

The Gas Station story is the one that stands out most in my mind. I don't really recall the others but looking forward to seeing in HD.

Am I the only one who thinks that there should be a dedicated scream factory thread in the slipcover forum? Every time I click on this thread all I see is people fussing over bits of cardboard and scream factory news/announcements are often lost in these sort of posts.

By all means , in the words of Daniel Bryan
YES ! YES ! YES !

There is a slipcover thread, there should be a Scream Factory Slipcover thread around too.

When there aren't any announcements everything goes to slipcovers

I like that. There was no activity for two days on the thread. Then this happened, and its more lively.

Scream needs to let us know more of what titles they are holding...I mean we knew about Night of the Comet 18 months ago and know we only know of the next few months titles and Sleepaway Camp this spring. Give us more to talk about Scream!

There was a comment on their FB section where a title was mentioned that they DO have. but it was deleted. They do have something which is pretty cool (which most of their movies are anyway) , but obviously since the comment was deleted, Im not about to say anything and neither will those who read it when it was up. It was posted by an insider though I hadn't heard of him. It was deleted since it isn't ready to be announced

Going out on a limb and saying it is Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! It was a Rhino title. Rhino was absorbed by Shout Factory. The connection is there.

Rhino was not absorbed by Shout! Factory. The two companies share a co-founder in Richard Foos, but are not one and the same. Rhino currently part of Time Warner.

God damn... It is, however, one of the few things asked for today, so maybe.

That's what all the women say to me too

That comment really was there and I promise you I wasnt lying but it was deleted. I will say that it was not a slasher and it wasn't Without Warning.
I dont want to say because it is something along the lines like Frightener - you have to earn trust and if Cliff reads this and sees that I did not babble (although someone else did and really should not have ) he'll be proud that I kept my little secret. Or he will hate me because Im tormenting all of you ha hahahaaaaa !!

Also Justin Beahm has once again dropped a clue on his facebook page about a slasher film coming..something vague about more good news coming to Slasher Fans. That's I can say because that is what he said !
