For what it's worth, he also directed the Blackwater episode of Game of Thrones...

Because Miramax has an exclusive license with Echo Bridge. Trust me, I'd love a Scream Factory edition of The Faculty or From Dusk Till Dawn more than anything, but they just won't happen...

Wait did Cliff say something about Halloween 6 The P-Cut? Was he at the Halloween 35th Anniversary Convention?

Scream Factory had a panel there this afternoon. That's where they were when the initial announcement of Dog Soldiers and Ginger Snaps went public.

Im going to squelch another rumor for those who thought they acquired Dog Soldiers and Ginger Snaps from Lionsgate and Fox.
There was a question about this on Facebook and Jeff answered...

Scream Factory No, we did not license these from Fox or Lionsgate.

Was never a fan of Ginger Snaps, but might give Dog Soldiers another chance. Will probably rent it first.

The joke I made was that anything is possible as long as Warner doesn't own it.... But we don't have Halloween 6

No one likes Eve of Destruction? I think it looks waaaaay better than Night of the Comet, but again I didn't grow up with that film.

I enjoy Eve. I pre-ordered both releases, as I'm a fan of both films. I just think NotC has a bigger fan base.

Can someone give me some unbiased thoughts on NOTC? I am not totally sure if I would like it or not, but if I pre order at the low price now it is worth it (if I'll like the film that is) so any thoughts based on my collection?

Scream probably couldn't do a whole lot to improve on a From Dusk Till Dawn release. Echo Bridge has already released all 3 movies plus the Full-Tilt Boogie documentary in a blu-ray collection. I'm not sure how good the picture quality is with the movies, but the documentary is pretty much a definitive look at From Dusk Till Dawn. Scream could possibly do a new transfer, and get some of the actor's present reflections on the movie but that's about it.
