That's a promising review, I can't believe more people aren't buzzing about The Beast Within coming out in high definition. Beast Within is a personal favorite of mine.

Many of the Scream Factory titles aren't really scary so much as splatter films, slasher/mystery, or cult black comedies. The Fog is atmospheric and probably the scariest SF title, in my opinion. I also enjoyed elements of tension in The Howling, which has a strong mystery element. A distant third might be The Nest, but Nest has a slow pacing.

If you're just looking to fill in some quality horror movies I recommend the Scanners II/III (surprisingly good stuff), Phantasm II (but requires knowledge of the original), and From Beyond as top picks from the catalog. Avoid Ninja III (cheesy crap) and you've already made the mistake of obtaining Town That Dreaded Sundown.

Body Bogs is very fun and enjoyable imo and that last segment entitled EYE is pretty freaky if you are looking for something more on the scary side. I think SF's upcoming release of Crawlspace might become their scariest movie, well I don't know if scary is the correct word exactly, maybe disturbing is more appropriate. Too bad the movie isn't very enjoyable at the same time though(imo of course).

Body Bogs is very fun and enjoyable imo and that last segment entitled EYE is pretty freaky if you are looking for something more on the scary side. I think SF's upcoming release of Crawlspace might become their scariest movie, well I don't know if scary is the correct word exactly, maybe disturbing is more appropriate. Too bad the movie isn't very enjoyable at the same time though(imo of course).

Klaus Kinski is scary (or should I say disturbing) no matter what movie he's in.

I agree that Crawlspace would probably be the creepiest one in my opinion, if looking at all future and current releases by Scream Factory!

Quick question:
My local theater is showing Silent Night, Deadly Night next Wednesday. One night only . Nobody will take me, and they check ID at the door. How do I get in?

The only way that comes to mind is by them finally getting back to me about my job application.

Purchase a ticket for a family friendly movie and go to Silent Night, Deadly Night instead. If they are literally checking ID and the entrance to that specific show, walk up with confidence and show them your ID anyway (the clerk might not care to check too carefully and just need a show for the manager).
