If you've seen Anchor Bay's totally half-hearted attempt at a Blu-ray cover, you'll know why this is so needed.

I just had to make this because the steelbook and the amaray cover is among one of the worst Ive ever seen.

It took me 5 minutes to make, surely the studio could have done the same thing.

I remember someone at one time posted a custom cover of 'The Gate' with an original front poster. Does anyone know who that was?

A much better cover than the film deserves, really.

If you're interested in making your own stuff, I've found fanart.tv a really good resource for a lot of posters/logos etc. You can usually get textless versions of official posters as well.

As for downloading other people's work, euphoricfx.org is great - you just have to jump through a few minor hoops to get them.

No because the 6 or so bucks is helping them pay for the sites. It's not like they are asking for the moon.

Default The Gate

So now I'm working a lot more with Gimp and with trial and error I think I'm getting most of it except for some of the basic stuff that IS basic on Paint.net but not so much on Gimp. Ah hell, there will come a day in which this won't be so hard anymore.

Since I couldn't find the person that did 'The Gate' cover, I've made one of my own... and with Gimp. Hope it will suffice for now!

I think this is going to be another title forever in WIP

I've been working on this for the past few hours. It's looking a bit rough at the minute, but the basics are there. I had to make the old Columbia logo from scratch. I'll definitely be making a Blu-ray version, too, because the dimensions are perfect for it!

Also, can anyone identify this font? I've had a quick look with no success.

Default Hey you guys!

A quiet Sunday morning, and I don't know what made me look for art for a Goonies cover. The disc has been on my shelf for years, but I have always liked this art...

Finished this one late last night (early this morning, actually). Bunny Lake Is Missing is one of those fairly obscure films that Twilight Time likes to put out. This one has been out for a few months, but because I was unfamiliar with the film, it kinda fell through the cracks. By chance I was reading about the film recently and there were a few magic words..."Otto Preminger" and "black & white Panavision". I'll buy that for a dollar.

If you like 'em, get 'em the usual ways.

Very nice Robert! It's so good to see people creating covers for older films!

Default Inside Artwork

I found many tutorials on how to customize artwork in Steelbooks. Are there any for Ironpacks ? I have customized many of my Steelbooks but I have 4 or 5 Ironpacks ( that I bought off Ebay that were listed as Steelbooks ) Not quite sure how to add inside artwork to these. Please help. THX
