how do you guys make the cover picture that shows it on the case? Is there something that does that for you or do you just stretch and skew the artwork in photoshop?

Also, announcing a new work in progress. I'm making a Drafthouse Films cover for ABCs of Death using Mondo artwork.

Here is a set that was inspired by original VHS releases. Designed to match/emulate the style of the original 1992-94 30th Anniversary MGM/UA (Warner Bros. distribution) Home Video covers. The overall design of the 92 release was to celebrate the 30th anniversary of cinematic Bond and give the original posters a slight revamp. Text, Info and Pictures were either matched or laid out as closely as possible to the original layout while updating certain info. Close substitutes or recreations were used for pictures when original pictures were unavailable, or original design didn't use proper pictures for the film. Specific special features were not listed for two reasons
1. To stay true to the original VHS design and
2. So the covers could be used for any Bond Blu (current or future) release.

Note: Licence to kill did not have a release in this series on US vhs (it was apart of some similar looking international releases), there was a similar styled Laserdisc in 1994. This design is based off those releases, while matching the rest of the 92 US vhs releases.

At some point soon, I will be adding the Brosnan and Craig films to the set. Possibly even Casino Royale '67 and Never Say Never Again. This set is near complete, current versions are available at http://www.hirescovers.net/forum/index.php

Sorry about the watermark, but people have been stealing my previews and passing them off as their own on other sites.

I know this has been sold out for a while, but I happened upon the original one sheet art that Twilight Time based their cover on, but altered pretty dramatically. This is closer to the original...

Back in 2011, when I was just getting started, I made a cover for the Lundgren Punisher. At the time a Blu was practically unthinkable, so the cover was intentionally vague on the specs. I had only done about 4 or 5 covers prior to this, so the design left a lot to be desired. Come 2015 and a Blu release is a reality and I decided to update my original cover. Apart from a redesigned back the original design is carried through more or less as-is.

Cool looking SOTL cover, I always liked that Criterion artwork

I was bored and found a good template for it so I made a Media VHS style cover for Zombeavers, I used a custom title font because the existing one was kinda boring looking. I based the cover design off of The Haunting Of Julia VHS and honestly I always make my back covers really basic looking.
