Is it possible to buy the "flicker alley" type bluray cases? What are they even called, there pretty much just clear ps4 cases but I can't seem to find any on Ebay etc.

Fantastic work as usual! I'm loving every one of these. Seeing the covers of Cellar Dwellar and Caracombs really drives home just how off the mark modern distributors are with their original cover artwork. Looking at these original designs it's simply no comparison. The original illustrations look like mini works of art worthy of closer inspection and absolutely do the job of wanting me to pick a title up off the shelf... Most of the modern cover illustrations (not just by Scream Factory) look like little more than an insert in a magazine at best and rarely have the same impact.

Thanks! And I couldn't agree more. I can't imagine anyone visiting this thread if they weren't at least a little bit dissatisfied with the majority of retail cover art. Half the joy for me of collecting the boutique label stuff is that they understand and respect what the fans want, original poster art.

Dumb question. How does this work? Someone makes a killer alternative box art, the recipient removes the original art, prints out the new ones (in super glossy high def resolut.?) And slides them into the case? And it'll look as pristine as if it came from the store?

That's pretty much it, yes. You're at the mercy of your printer's capabilities and paper choice.
