Every time I see a new post from the Signature Collection, I cross my fingers that it's a film I own.

Once again, this isn't one, but darn, it's so good it makes me want to watch Jack Reacher just to see whether I'd like to own a copy.

This first Jack Reacher movie is, in my opinion, a really solid film. Not perfect by any means, but McQuarrie has obviously proven himself as a director even with this film. The music is a real standout, as well as a really awesome car chase sequence later in the film.

I'll check around for some decent cover art. I still want to make a cover for Natural Born Killers but it seems like there's no good alt art out there and the theatrical art is just kinda meh.

I'm working on a few more Spielberg covers. My next three or so posts will be of "recent" films of his that were all adaptations from books, each with really rich and colorful artwork, so I decided to theme them in the style of their first edition publications.

Still on a sharing hiatus; just wanted to show these off as I'm particularly proud of them.

First up:

I'm a little excited for this movie...

A concept of what this might eventually look like. The only things that I imagine will change are the secondary poster artwork in the back and the plot blurb, which I'll write myself once I screen the film.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)

Now that I have access to all three films, I've made myself some custom covers for 4K77, 4K80, and 4K83. These will be for Criterion Collection cases, and I'll be burning each film onto a BD-R.

And since Miami Vice's superior Theatrical Cut has yet to get a Blu-ray here, I'll be burning it as well:

These were made to match the look/feel of their respective source material's first edition publications. I particularly like the Tintin one. The colors and Herge's artwork is just so charming to me. I hope you enjoy these.
