The FINAL final Conan covers:

Now in both Universal and FOX flavours.

I've taken the older versions off-line to avoid confusion. People who got the previous ones must PM me again if they want the new versions.

Lots of talents here, Great beautiful work!
For people who have skills in art design,

would you be interested in designing a steelbook cover art and inside art for the movie"Farewell My Concubine " ?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106332/

BLUFAN.Com wants your ideas for their up coming Blu Ray steelbooks.
Your design will be on the actual steelbook.

PM me if you will be interested in, I will give you more info.

My work so far:

A typical Nissen cover, completely redrawn poster (very little online for this 1993 Cannes winner), textured background, red/gold hues, stroked text.

I really like to see people actually drawing their covers. Great work so far

I did a Trilogy and Separates for Jurassic Park a month or so back (My first ever BD covers). See this post:

I'll be doing the backs eventually and do some de-pinking on the JP2 cover

Very nice JP covers. I'll wait to you update the backs to "finalize" specs once the set is released. I'm a stickler for separate covers for sets that get digitized. But I like what you have created thus far..great stuff.

Just realized I've forgotten to welcome you to the forum. You're off to a great start. I share your enthusiasm for Flash. Did you do the logo as a vector in illustrator?

Looking forward to seeing your OctoFeline cover also.

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes, the "Flash" logo is a vector file that I manipulated in Illustrator but I cannot take full credit for it since I found most of the elements for it online. It was actually difficult because in the intervening years since the movies release the logo has morphed considerably to a point where the standard logo is nowhere near the original 1980 logo. I've always hoped to see that cover illustration on a DVD or Blu-ray cover. I eventually decided if I wanted that, I would need to do it myself.

I ran into a snag with the "Octo" cover. I created a gunbarrel vector file with the thought that I would have scenes from the movie showing through it and I managed to accomplish that but it ended up really confusing the back cover and was not what I had hoped. So, I ditched the gunbarrel vector and am working towards a more standard back cover. I am (again) using original poster art for the cover. A WIP is posted on EuphoricFX.

Ok, opinions, should I remove Step Brothers and Terminator Salvation and put in Ip Man 1 & 2? If I put those in, I can rework the tech specs and remove the regional coding and place it at the bottom next to the Aspect Ratio because Ip Man 1 & 2 are without a doubt Region B locked.

No offense, but why ask what films to include if it's a set for you? None of those films have anything in common, so its kind of doubtful that anyone else would want to use the cover for anything... so just put what you want.

Just asking.

I bought them from Steelbook collectors and used rental copies, so they don't have covers.

Is that a stock image of the jungle? Works great! Myself, I'd remove the "ultimate" on the front, just to match the spine.

The way you solved the back on JP is very structured and legible, I think I'll use the same layout for the back of my own JP Trilogy cover. (Imitation is the best kind of flattery).

Keep 'em coming.

...and just register Imandix Cover Pro already, it's money well spent

Orlando, this would make a good design challenge, fitting six movies on a cover. I'd like to see you make a unified front that incorporates all the movies organically, like a custom poster. Also curious about how you'll solve the back.

If it were me, I'd just go for separate covers for all of them. Like the previous poster said, this cover will be of no use to anyone else, but as an experiment and celebration of design it will be interesting to follow the progression.

Oh, and PIMP that spine, will ya.
