I had to recomposite several of these so far to even fit the dimensions of a blu, and none are clos eto finalized... just figured I'd share. Fantastic! These are terrific. Love retro stuff.

So, I'm new to this forum. Some great covers here. I had some questions, I am going to buy the 'Drive' blu ray, but think the cover is an absolute abomination. I've seen some good work on the forum, but no links to download them. Can someone post a few. Also, what type of printing paper to you suggest is close to the paper used for actual covers?
Thanks everybody...keep up the good work.

For paper I would suggest either gloss or semi-gloss, whichever you like better. I used semi-gloss and printed some covers at Kinkos and they came out fine.

Sony's cover art for Drive is horrendous. For printing I would use the back side of Sony's cover art. Ha. Actually that cover is what got my started doing my own artwork. I couldnt believe how bad it was and how it was nothing like that movie. That lady who sued because when she went to see Drive she was pissed cause the trailer was nothing like the actual movie should have sued Sony for that cover.

I don't think the cover is bad at all... to be fair, Drive NEVER had any good posters or art associated with it, and all the fonts they used on the official posters varied (and were all terrible).

There are some customs on here if you just go back a few pages.

That's more of a "her" problem than a "film" problem, though. People sue for anything these days, just because they are lazy. And the cover is just one of the official posters, so blame the original marketing, not the blu-ray.

Some people like it, some don't, it got an ok review here. I loved it, I've watched it twice since I bought it yesturday (because I think its good and to update little details for the cover) and Im sure I'll watch it again. I do agree with the reviewer that it could have been longer to go deeper into the concept and characters. But it was one that I wasn't watching my watch to see if it was almost over. Kept my attention.

Anyone have any tips on a good printer to buy for printing out pictures? I would say my budget is under $100. My current printer has pretty much died, and I was wanting a new printer that would hanlde printing photos, and cusotom covers, that way I don't have to go to kinko's every time I want a picture? Thanks For the input.

I think your choice for Man Who Knew too Much turned out great.

These will all look SO good standing next to each other.

Good job, R.

P.S. just get in touch with me if you need that poster for "Thief".

Thank you kindly. I have the one you used, I do like it better... I'll mock it up shortly. Now we just need all of these on blu, lol.

Drive is what got me jump-started on the custom-wagon too. There have been other horrible covers, several actually, but this terrible cover combined with how much I love the film is what pushed me over the edge, so to speak. I have thrown the original cover insert away.
