I'm not sure why he felt the need to quote himself two minutes after his last post.

Not only that, he said he'd made the request five times. Maybe he did but not in this thread. In fact, that was his first request post, period. The reason no one responded was likely that there was no post to respond to.

Started working on these today. The Birds and Marnie, from the Hitchcock collection.

I'm doing Custom Covers for my favorite Horror Trilogy of All time: The Evil Dead!

My covers fits my need, as I'm doing my own special editions.

The Evil Dead is now a 5-Disc edition:

- The Evil Dead on Blu-ray
- The Bonus Disc DVD from the Limited Edition Blu-ray
- The Evil Dead Book of the Dead DVD (Including the Fananalysis Documentary)
- The Evil Dead Bonus Disc (Disc 3) from the Ultimate Edition DVD (With all the Ladies of the Evil Dead documentaries)
- Within the Woods on DVD-R

And here is the cover:

================================================== ====================

Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn is a 2-Disc Case. The only difference with the new BD release is the DVD inside: I replaced the one in the retail case with the Book of the Dead Edition DVD, which also include Talent Bios, Posters and a bonus trailer for an Evil Dead videogame.

The cover:

================================================== ====================

Army of Darkness contain 4 discs:

- Army of Darkness Blu-ray Edition
- Army of Darkness DVD by Anchor Bay, with the "The Men Behind The Army" Featurette
- Army of Darkness Director's Cut DVD by Anchor Bay
- Army of Darkness Director's & Uncensored Cut (Region 3) DVD by MGM

And a final picture with the spines:

Send me a PM with your email if you want the Hi-Res file to print your own!

The special features are easy to remove and edit if you want to change them.

Also, I've tried making this request...like 5 times now. But I'm wondering if someone could possibly make a custom for Silent Hill, that simply uses the poser of the girl's face without the mouth.

Thanks in advance.
I looked at all seven of the posts you have here on Blu-ray.com and this was the first request you have made since you joined the site earlier this month (Dec. 2012).

Here's my latest collection. In the past for 5-disc sets I have had credits blocks and long synoposis filling the boxes, this uses images instead:

Cool! I like the custom "ultimate" editions you've made and the uniform spines.

Thank you! And I'll probably make another one for the remake in 2013.

Why do people make collections instead of just having the films stand on their own? What purpose does a collection of movies featuring a same actor achieve? I literally have never understood this at all. It seems like the opposite of what anybody could ever want?

If you're limited for room, it will be a space saver, surely?

Awesome, I usually only make covers for movies you haven't done yet or won't do lol. I just happend to see that Dick Tracy was an easy make and slapped it together. I was working on a Platoon cover when you released yours, I had the same image for the front on it also.

We need to collaborate I guess so we don't make duplicates.

I have Adobe Creative Suite 6, which includes Photoshop. I have tried various combinations before including mixing synoposis and credits blocks but finally decided that images spoke more to a movie for most people.

Putting collections together is one of the reasons why I got involved in custom cover work in the first place - to help save shelf space.

The only actor that has had a volume 2 so far is Schwarzenegger, but Keira Knightley is about to get a second one with my recent purchase of "London Boulevard".

Not everyone has unlimited shelf space. I found that out when I had over 4,000 DVDs and I eventually had to put them in all in binders. In an effort to still be able to display all my movies in the future I make actor collections. Indeed, I make collections whenever possible.

There are some really nice pieces of custom cover art posted

Can someone recommend a member who for a reasonable fee will create custom cover artwork? :)
