The problem with the first one is, without BATMAN under the logo, the logo needs to be centered. I get that the VHS was skewed up, but VHS were a much more vertical case and blu-ray is more square, so the logo would look better centered if there's no text.

On the second, BATMAN is too close to the bottom edge so everything looks cramped.

Here is what the front of the original vhs looked like:

As you can see, the logo is more towards the top of the case, that is what I was going for with the first version and I am completely satisfied with how it came out. As for the second version, the title logo just looked right where I placed it, but I can mess around with the spacing to see if I can make it look less cramped. I appreciate the comments though as they help me to become a better cover artist.

A few covers I have tossed together recently.

Gutterballs (Scream Factory style) to match the Halloween covers. I am aware that the back image is actually a promo image for Gutterballs 2, but images are scarce for this films so I used what I could find

A Nightmare On Elm Street Collection

Friday The 13th Collection (I am not completely happy with the front yet)

I also have similar collection covers for Scream, Child's Play, Hellrasier and Texas Chainsaw Massacre and a very NSFW cover for Jennifer's Body. I am working on a spacesaver cover for Grindhouse that includes all 7 disc from the franchise. The Theatrical Experience, The stand alone films and both Machete Films. I was thinking of adding Hobo With A Shotgun but decided against it because that trailer isn't available on any of the Blu-ray's I own

Wow, some of you guys have created some amazing covers!

I've recently decided that I wanted to take on building a Van Damme blu-ray set that includes my favorite 11 movies of his. I've never created a custom cover before, and am starting to realize that I'm in way over my head. I think my idea will actually be really easy to put together. Would anyone be up to the challenge of making it?

My idea is to use this image and remove the quote at the top and logos at the bottom, and replace "Bloodsport" with "Jean-Claude Van Damme collection".

These were the only movies covers i did back in the day, was going to do a wesley snipes collection. never got round to the rest to feel free to grab these if you want them.
